People there are not real friendly. Ziggy is very nasty, and needs to learn how to speak to people. He's a real idiot!!!

I wanted to sell a pair of diamond earrings that I never wore because the posts were too large for my ears. I've never sold gold or jewelry for cash so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. Everyone in the store was really nice (a few different people helped me thoughout the process) and it was pretty painless. I felt I got a fair price and didn't feel the need to haggle or anything. I was in and out the door in 10 minutes or so. All in all I would recommend it to a friend and wouldn't hesitate to go back if I had more items to sell. more

Continental Arms is a Great Place to shoot and buy firearms. I am a retired law enforcement officer and it is important that I feel confident about the environment and the clientele at any firing range I attend. Continental has some practical rules and administrative procedures that help ensure a safe environment and weeds out those who probably would be more comfortable elsewhere. Particularly, those who probably are prohibited from possesing firearms or for reasons of unsound judgment shouldn't posssess firearms. Thanks Continental! more

The teachers of their classes are great. I encourage everyone to take a class if you want to become comfortable with shooting. Their assistance in helping me become an informed and safe shooter lead to me purchasing two guns from them. With so many choices, it is great to have a resource that guides you in the right direction. more

My wife was looking at getting a revolver for home defense. Going online, we got the impression that a .38 was a good and safe home defense weapon. After a doctors appointment - the doctors office is about ten minutes away - we drove over and asked about getting a .38. This is where I was first impressed. The man who waited on us asked my wife if she ever shot a .38 before. No, she has not. So he went on to explain the recoil difference with light weight and non light weight .38s. What he did was let her try out a S&W .22 and a .S&W .38 on their range - for free. 10 rounds with the .22 and 5 rounds with a .38. My wife felt more comfortable with the .22 so that is what we purchased.\r \r We picked up the revolver ten days later and this time we brought 2 others with us. We all got free range time and - this is what I liked - on their range you can fire a shotgun. I brought my Mossberg 500 pump and fired ten rounds. My wife and I practiced with her .22 - shooting 100 rounds. Our guests test fired a S&W .357 firing .38 cal, a Glock 9mm, and a Sig Saur. \r \r All in all, we had a great time. more

Bottom line - this place is well stocked, well lit, and a very good range. The range staff is knowledgable and patient. The staff in the front are the same. There are many women working there and they all are serious and know their stuff. If you are a woman shooting for the first time or an experienced shooter, this business will meet your needs. more

I shoot here almost every week, the staff is friendly and the range is clean and well lit. The only thing i don't like is they don't allow head shots on the targets. Other than that great place to shoot. more

Went there for a bday party on a thursday which is ladies night so it was super cheap.\r The staff played no games about the bank ground check luckily I'm not a terrorist. But omg the knowledge they offered on all of the guns. They did not push the 22 on us ladies in fact they wanted us to try everything. Safety was also stringent which is always a plus. I was given a heat set and lovely protection eyewear. I'm going back hope to see you there. more

Experienced shooters - if you're new to the range, just show them that you know safety protocol: tell 'em what you're bringing to shoot, clear your weapons safely at the counter, and show your ammo. You're asking them to trust that you're not a danger to themselves and their other customers, after all. Demonstrate that, and they'll provide you with a very professional range experience. more

If I'm near the Timonium area, I'll be making some stops in Continental Arms. The place is legit.\r \r Two of my friends wanted to come here to celebrate their birthdays. So, we had a pretty big group: 9 men and 4 women. Now out of this group, there were some who never held a gun; some who never been to a gun range; and some who have had some extensive type of gun range experience. One thing that I will give Continental Arms' staff credit for is their willingness to go over the basic guidelines and handling instructions of the guns since some people in our crowd were inexperienced. \r \r Once our group was in the range area, the real fun began. It was good seeing everyone enjoying themselves and relieving some stress. Whenever we had issues, there was staff ready to assist. The biggest thing here is safety, especially when dealing with weaponry.\r \r Overall, a great experience at Continental Arms and we'll be looking to go here again, hopefully for another birthday celebration. more
