Expected quality, and got quality service 7/8/2014

The technician Consumer Electric Inc. sent out to our house was knowledgeable, pleasant and explained things very clearly. He performed a safety check and fan installation, plus some rewiring to make everything comply with safety regulations. I expected quality and got quality service. more

I found Consumer Electric in the Yellow Pages. I called them because a circuit blew out and the underground electrical wire needed to be replaced. They were very nice, on time, and willing to work. I would recommend them. more

Good job all the way around! 5/13/2014

Consumer Electric put a new circuit box in and ran some more circuits for us. They also came in and put some more electrical outlets in the house. They were professional, knew what they were doing, and did everything they said they would. There was no mess afterward, and they did a good job. more

Very professional and I felt good about it 5/2/2014

Consumer Electric Inc. did a good job. They were here for three days but they had a lot to do. The first thing they did was they changed the box outside that connects everything we had. They also put a fan inside our wall to stop mildew from growing. We used to have to leave the light on all the time in order to do that, and now we don't have to do that anymore. Also, they told us our cost ahead of time so we wouldn't have a big shock in the end. more

On time, great work and customer service 5/2/2014

Called Beth on late Tues afternoon for a Wed service call, she promptly schedule me for the 2-4 time slot, I informed her we were driving back to Danville on Wed and asked if she had an earlier time. She said she would check and call me back, Within 5 minutes she called and asked if the 8-10 time period would work. The service technician, Jose was professional and knowledgeable. We have used them in the past on our beach house in Moss Lading and have always been satisfied, the most recent call was no exception. Great, honest company. Randy more

Best experience with contractors ever! 4/28/2014

This was the best and most pleasant experience I had with electrical contractors to do some wiring that involved rewiring the entire house. It was a very large job and spanned a couple weeks. During this process they were incredibly flexible and respectful of my work schedule. They were able to accommodate any and all requests I had and explained everything in detail prior to initiating it. The workers on site were some of the most respectful, organized, and knowledgeable people I have hired for residential work. They also cleaned up after themselves at all times and never left a mess, or any furniture piece out of its original place. If you are wondering who to go to for your electrical needs, I would highly recommend Consumer Electric for anything and everything electrical. Best all around experience and customer satisfaction for your money and time. more

I recently called Consumer Electric for a blown breaker box and needed immediate service. Beth went out of her way to accommodate us and the service was prompt and professional. The electricians were mindful of our home, and were knowledgable about what they were doing. It was not an easy job and required some thought and effort on their part. They did a super job! more

Great response to our emergency 4/4/2014

We are extremely pleased with their service. They came out the same day we called to fix a serious fire hazard and then responded quickly, again, to a major overhaul at my mother's 1967 era home. Not only were they responsive but after quoting a price for the overhaul, they found a way to save us some money on the job. more

Repaired bad electrical outlets in bathrooms! 4/1/2014

Work was done in a very professional manner. The young man took the time to explain everything to me as well as took the time to explain to my husband who was at work! We have used Consumer Electric numerous times in the past and have found their work to be very satisfactory! We will definitely continue to use them in the future! more

Consumer Electric installed new patio lighting for me. They installed floodlights for the backyard, too. I didn't have any problems at all with the installation. They were on-time, answered all of my questions, and did the job completely. They also cleaned up well after they left. more

Great service and Friendly employees 2/28/2014

Called the company and was told someone would be out around 10 in the morning and sure enough he was right on time. Looked at my problem and went over all of my options . Then went to work on restoring my electric at a speedy manner and done very professionally . All this and while standing in the rain. ( wow to work on electricity ) Like to thank the whole team that came out , GREAT WORK THANK YOU AGAIN. P.S. Forgot to thank Beth at the office for her courteousness. :) more
