Construction Pros INC

This company is downright awful. My husband and I hired them through BJs Wholesale Club, and contracted them to redo the roof on our house. We had the work done in June 2012, and within a few months (in December 2012) we noticed that water was dripping on the underside of the front part of our roof only. We contacted the shingle manufacturer (GAF) and the owner of Construction Pros INC (Brian Appolonio) about the problem immediately. Both companies sent out a representative. The rep from GAF quickly determined that we had a condensation problem that was not due to shingle defect, and was an airflow problem created by too tight insulation that did not allow air to reach the ridge vent. The rep from Construction Pros (a Mr Fisher) who came out instead of the company owner, who told us he would be out of the country for a week, also agreed we had an airflow problem, and that it would need to be rectified. He told us the owner of the company would get back to us, and to date we still have not heard a word from him. The only calls we have received are from his wife, Elsa, who promised up and down that she was e-mailing him, and that he would get back to us shortly. Seriously? We have left numerous messages with the company owner on his cell phone, to no avail. This is a disgusting and unprofessional way to treat a customer, especially one with young children, whose rooms are just under this roof. (We have a Cape with a finished attic)\r We have since developed a mold problem and have gotten nothing but the run around. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE. They are unprofessional, will take your money, and could care less about doing shoddy work. Having since done some research, I've found out that Construction Pros INC was the name Brian Appolonio came up with for what was formerly ProStruction, which had numerous Better Business Bureau complaints.\r more

you will have nothing but problems with the owner of this company.will take your money and wont do what the contract says.and wont return your calls.dont let them on your property! more

Ok first let me say thank you to the construction pros, staff. I had been going back and forth weather I should change the windows in my home. I met with Michael who did an excellent presentation he took his time and didn?t rush me with any decision. I had done my research on this company before I met with Michael, I contact the BBB and found they have no open complaints and that they came highly rated by them. I also checked the attorney general and found nothing. I had signed a contract with Michael for 15 windows and these were installed in one day I couldn?t believe it, they were installed wrapped the old ones were taken away and everything was cleaned up. They even moved my furniture to its proper place. I had such an excellent experience with construction pros, and the staff from office to installers that I have since them gotten new siding and now I?m working on my new deck and hope someday to be able to install a sunroom. I have hired Construction Pros to do my sunroom, siding, windows, and roof at my house in Pleasant Valley. They are a great company. They have exclusive products and lifetime warranties. JimmyJoe I am shocked at your comment as they are very detailed. The owner came to my house 4 times before work even started to make sure the communication was perfect with the company and myself. They have detailed paperwork explaining to me completely what is to be done and what products are to be used! I also checked the Better Business Bureau reports and they are a rated ""A"" company. They have no negative reviews on there which is ironic as online there is negative reviews. These sites allow anyone to post whatever they want. The BBB is a mediator and a legite review company. I don't understand how on some of these review sites people have such negative things to say but on the BBB they have a perfect rating? Either way thank you Construction Pros for allowing my family to have an amazing Easter as we now have room for more sitting in the sunroom! I would highly recommend this company! more

I highly recommend Construction Pros. I have been working with Construction Pros for several months leading up to my current basement remodel (following a flood). The owner Brian has been extremely honest, patient, and responsive. He has responded to every one of my questions and concerns promptly, even when he was away on vacation or in bed with the flu. His workers are extremely professional. I have worked with many contractors in the past and have never met one as professional and thorough as Construction Pros. They are prompt, responsible, knowledgeable, and always come when they say they are going to come. They are neat and clean and a pleasure to do business with. We had many difficult issues that had to be addressed. I have been so impressed with Brian's level of knowledge, his honesty, and his skill. Highly recommend!!! more

I warn everyone to stay away from this company! Our materials that were ordered for our project were changed to a cheaper brand although we paid for the more expensive brand it was not at all what we got. Not sure how a company can get away with that? Just be aware this company has a lot of lies! more
