Without a doubt the best consignment store in the metro area. As a matter of fact, I am a consignment frequenter and have never been to a better one anywhere. I was recently in an ""upscale"" one in Indianapolis. The quality was similar and the prices were 3 times higher. Perhaps the couple of people who gave them bad ratings are competitors. My advice to people who shop resale...is to come and check\r out Consignment Clothiers for yourself before you listen to advice from oh someone who has nothing better to do with their time then dis on companies...like Anony M.!!! Cosignment Clothiers has been in business for 25 years!! Recently renovated and beautiful, with over 26 thousand consignors...I'd say they are doing something right!!!! Do yourself a huge favor and check them out. They are an outstanding business!!! more

Would not recommend, now similar to salvation army.\r \r It actually used to be a nicer store, strictly DESIGNER women s clothing. Now they take Wal-Mart, K-mart, Target, and Sears clothing. So much junk in that place. They also say they only take 2 years or newer clothing, but go out on the floor and take a look at all the shoulder pads. I think people are expecting too much from consignment. The people are not there to kiss your butt, it's not Bloomingdales! Plus it's CONSIGNMENT, which means if you don't like what they have one week, come the next because new stuff will be out on the floor. I've been shopping there and consigning there since 1998 and although others might be more cute or trendy, they really have the best prices around for great stuff! Most of the ladies are really nice and for the woman who asked the question about the contests, I won a $50 gift certificate there last year. It never fails there, I always find a great deal there plus I'm 24 and my friends are always asking where I get my stuff and I tell them Consignment Clothiers on 7mile! more

Best resale store in the state 1/30/2010

This store has the best selection of merchandise around. They always have a sale running to save you more money. They put out new stuff all the time. Pros: Great Selection Cons: Can only shop once a week. more

Terrible Consginment 1/16/2010

The worst place I have ever been. They do not know how to price anything. Example: sweater =$14.00 yet an evening gown = $11.00 . I paid $100.00 when I bought it. Then they lose your items and don't pay you for them. Cons: People are unorganized more

Consignment Clothiers leaves the rest in the dust. 8/11/2009

I love this store! It has a great selection of clothing and accessories. The employee's are friendly and helpful. I've had an account with them for over 15 years and never had a problem with getting money or my clothing back. They clearly spell out consignment rules and times to pick up clothing and money. I have always follow these dates and had a great experience. more

Cancelled my acct 7/24/2009

I took in a very nice designer coat and got the paperwork on what price they would charge. I called back in less than a month to find it had sold and was told what amount I was due to me. When I went in to collect 3 weeks later I was told a different amount and that I actually OWED them because of yearly dues!! more

Clothing Consignment 10/19/2008

I cancelled my account with Clothing Consignment early this year. They consistently "could not find" my items that did not sell when I went to pick them up. The 'lost' items included jewelry, a nice winter coat, sweater(s). This happened often, and the staff seemed very indifferent. more

OK place 8/25/2008

This consignment shop used to be double the size it is now, so the assortment of things was better. They do still have nice things, just not as much. You really have to look because stuff is jammed in! more

ok resale 7/1/2005

This resale store used to be so great- now they have downsized and donot seem to get the best selection-at one time they had the best jewelry and bags. they still have some nice items. the resale clothes are not as nice as they used to be. they also have a furniture consignment a few stores down. the parking lot is hugh-they are opened sat and sunday till 5:00 PROS: easy in and out CONS: usesd to be much better quality more
