I recently had the opportunity to work with Mike Connor at Connor Real Estate. He has been in the lynn real estate business for 25 plus years. His advice and knowledge made my home buying experience a pleasure. The house we bought was a short sale and took over 6 months to complete. He kept us informed all during the process and was very careful not to make any promises or guarantees. We wern't sure of the conditon of home so he advised us to hire a home inspector. He explained to us that we were buying a used piece of property and he was a salesman not contractor and couldn't give advice on condtion, repairs etc. We had it inspected, found some problems and he negotiated the corrections so we could complete the purchase. Long and short of it is we got a great house for an excellent price with a great mortgage rate of 3.5%. Turned out to be 200 dollars cheaper than our rent. Thank you Michael and Connor Real Estate. Michael Connor of Connor Real Estate was the most unprofessional and deceitful broker we have ever dealt with. I would recommend that anyone interested in a property they have listed for sale think twice! Not only were they rude from the beginning and unwilling to answer questions, they were also unwilling to provide any type of proof of permits (including an occupancy permit). Further, they continually denied any issues with the home (to their knowledge) until we had made an offer and hired an inspector. The inspector found dozens of leaks and a foundation/sill that had been rotted away causing flooding into the basement (a disaster waiting to happen). The information was not disclosed (which is required by law!). Ironically, I happened to know another person who made an offer on the same house after me, Michael told them that he still knew of no issues with the property and had no idea why we had backed out. We were very clear and he is most certainly aware of the leaking/dilapidated house. Stay away from this company! Pros: Smooth Talkers Cons: Everything more
