Very nostalgic weiner stand 12/11/2007

This is one of the best places to go when visiting or hanging out in the Fort. You really get a sense of nostalgia in the atmosphere. Did I mention that the dogs are great and the chili is awesome (an acquired taste by locals) and the best lemon meringue this side of the Mississippi. Pros: Awesome food and downtown setting Cons: Not a huge sitting capacity more

Straight outta Ney York 6/13/2004

In a city of places where good coney joints abound this is the best dog shop around!! Great but thin chili and a fair burger to boot (for burgers try Powers H B stand 4 blocks S on Harrison). Coney Island has been at the same location over 55 years (I'm 61 & can't remember them not being there). Watch em made from the front window. buy em by the bag. Park at the back and enter through the kitchen door. Only 1 block E of Calhoon on Main ST. Pros: great dogs, downtown, Cops eat there Cons: , skid row area more
