STAY AWAY 6/7/2011

Inquired about an Item, was told the price would be $10. Agreed to the price of $10 and began the checkout process. I didn't look at my receipt until I got home and was charged $20. STAY AWAY!!! I Don't even want to know what they do with computer repair pricing. more

A Really Excellent Computer Shop 1/24/2011

Good: I've been going to Computer Surplus since 1990. Lee & Thomas are the kind of men who you can trust. At every dealing I've had with them, Integrity was always a part of how they deal with customers. Best of all, when I come in with a problem they never fail to solve it. Bad: I wish they had a shop in Bellevue. Improvements: I went to one computer shop in Bellevue, explained a problem, and the fellow wanted me to leave the computer and would charge a basic fee of $65. When I took it to Lee, he said, "You forgot to push this button!" No charge, of course.. Other: Ever since I've been going to Lee, he has invariably been straightforward and honest, even to the point of telling me what to do or just the thing I needed to have, even if it means he's not selling me something. And his prices are very reasonable!! Guys like this are rare.. more

Very scrappy place, got piles of computer parts everywhere. You can usually find cheaper version of everything compare to going to BestBuy or Fry's. You may not get a brand name, but they are all made in China or India anyways right? Lots of cables, drives and spare parts. They also fix computers. more
