Computer Qwerx

I brought my Mac to Computer Qqwex, as an attempt to work locally and support local businesses. They had horrible communication with me, I was told several different stories from need a new logic board ($650) to just a new cable ($180). After a week I got my laptop back. I was charged $175, in cash (Credit Cards and checks are not accepted), and it still does not work. more

I brought my Mac in with a dead hard drive. A certified Mac Specialist replaced it with an even bigger hard drive. The service was fast and reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I feel much better giving money to the local small business than to corporate goons. more

Two months ago I stopped by the computer shop after an unpleasant visit to the court house across the street. Really warm atmosphere unlike most tech shops I've seen. The workers were pleasant and answered my questions sufficiently. I'd been looking for a new computer to play my games on, so they helped me design a system for myself. It took a couple of weeks but it all finally came together. I spent a good amount of money on this beast but when I checked online I found that I could have spent a lot more. So now I have had this for a little over a month and I couldn't be happier. Not only does the system work great but every time I've called the shop with questions they've helped me, without any fuss or aggravation. I am a very satisfied customer and will continue supporting this business. more

Well, you can go to these guys if you enjoy getting pirated software, dumb looks, excuses and lies. They are most assuredly not insured or bonded. Their 'techs' with their certifications are dubious at best and completely criminal at worst. Only go to these guys if you want to lose your computer and more money. But, if you do get something from them. Be sure to get the original disks as well as any pertinent license keys for any software. more
