I don't get to have the atmosphere of the Commonplace that often, or to enjoy a good book over a great cup of coffee. I only make the trip a few times a year, but I drop TJ an email and coffee arrives fresh roasted in the mail. It is so amazing the postal people at my post office call and tell me it is in and the smell is driving them nuts, I always share a pound with them. Our small tourist town is loaded with coffee houses, but, I would give anything to have Commonplace here in Provincetown. more

Great Little Place to Relax Over a Cup of Joe 8/17/2005

The Commonplace, formerly the Cafe Curio, has not lost any of that small town coffee house charm. The Commonplace is a great place for the college students to study while keeping awake with a jolt of java. Likewise, it is also a safe haven for the businessman on his coffee break. The friendly wait staff, and the wide array of delicious choices make this coffeehouse the choice hangout for first dates, study groups, or casual gatherings. more
