Comet burger is centrally located right on Main Street in downtown Royal Oak. I would recommend making a quick stop there after your next late night binge drinking session...

hunter house wannabe 10/25/2005

this place is decent, however it's a hunter house wannabe. i should know, i was offered a position at comet burgers when it first opened many years ago because the owner came into hunter house all the time, where i worked at the time. the food is decent, the atomosphere is the best part of it, and obviously has a great location. more

Great greasy sliders 1/23/2003

This place is great at 2:am when you are hungry for some greasy sliders. Great chili cheese fries. My only complaint is that it is a little pricey when you can go to White Castle for a third of the price, but you cannot get the ambience of Comet. Pros: Sliders, Chili Cheese Fries, Great Late Crowd Cons: Pricey, Sometimes Crowded more
