Poor customer service 11/19/2010

I've used comcast over the last year and have had to get used to slow Internet, especially at busy times in the evening. Being that it is such a huge company, it takes a lot of time on the phone to get to the right person to get the help you need. It literally took hrs and 15+ phone transfers to simply cancel my existing service and start up new service at my new home. more

Comcast Cable in Pittsburgh 6/18/2009

I have used Comcast for my business and it was the biggest mistake I have ever made. When the service does work it's terribly slow but don't worry - most of the time the internet is completely down. This is due partly to the extremely cheap modems which constantly break and the low quality lines they use. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Comcast if you can or if thats all thats in your area get a back up 56k service so you have a back up.
