Thieves!! i brought my macbook there and i was told i needed a new screen, i paid $300 for parts n labor. called weekly for 2 months they had excuse every time then told me they couldn't fix it. when i went to pick it up and get my money back they refused to give me my money so i still have a broken macbook and was stolen from. i'm a college student barley making ends meet so $300 is a lot of money to me. honestly cant believe a business would do this to someone let alone a college student that's broke. more

Great Service Fast 2/20/2012

Excellent service and knowledge 2/16/2012

I just had my second great experience with Colwell Computers. I had a 3 year old netbook that had become very slow. We had purchased it for a trip 3 years ago and then hardly used it. In preparation for another trip we got it out and it would hardly work, it took a minute to type one word. Brought it to Gene at Colwell and he worked his magic again. It works like a brand new computer. It is worth every penny! more

Overpriced 6/17/2011

I was just window shopping in front of their store today and noticed that they had an Acer Laptop computer in the window for $889.00. Be Warned everyone I have the exact same computer that I purchased at Staples for $389.00 on sale. Not on sale it only costs about $449.00. This is the EXACT same notebook, model number and all. Even on Acer's website they show the retail price for $450.00. Just thought I would pass the information on. more

Horrid flim flam ripoff artists run avoid Coldwell Computers 5/4/2011

They are ripoff bunko scam artists they sold us a mac telling us how wonderful it was. It would be good on the net and to play face book games. Well it is soo slow you could take a mile jog befor it conects to anything. We tried to return it 3 days after We got it and the lady refused and became nasy. We had a tech look at it and the hard ware cant support the operation system. and they put in the operation system. These scum need to be ran out of town. they sell junk and know it and refuse to stand behind it they threaten you and say if you attempt a credit card charge they will have thier lawyer sue you. do yourself a favor DON""T BUY ANYTHING EVER FROM COLWELL COMPUTER in Saratoga Springs you will be sorry. more
