Dr. Collins- he makes my wife and I feel relaxed when we see him and he genuinely cares about the health of our teeth. It's so refreshing these days so see old-fashioned, grade-A+ service. My wife also loves the fireplace in the lobby. more

It was fine, not like going to the dentist is ever good. I only went there for the ""new patient teeth whiting"" It was supposed to be a $250 value, HUGE joke. I had to ask for it as I was leaving. It is 2 tubes of gel (that stings my gums so bad i cant even use it) and rubber retainers that are worse than the ones you buy at the store and mold yourself. If the free whiting appeals to you try the other dentist in town that offers free whiting and see if they offer anything better. more

Stay away from them!!! 4/25/2012

The younger sons of Dr. Ken Collins are great! However, it is time for dad (Ken Collins Sr) to retire! He is a joke. He does more damage than help. Any work he does do you will have to go to another dentist to have everything he touched redone. I've had THREE dentists comment on the awful work he did to me. My new regular dentist, an oral surgeon and an endodontics specialist that had to go in a fix the root canal and damage from Dr. Ken Collins Sr.This is just not my experience. My husband had double dental coverage and Collins office wouldn't send the proper paper work to the insurance company regarding treatment. The insurance had requested this from them THREE TIMES. Now we are stuck with the bill 10 months later. Plus my husband is now having to see an endodontics specialist due to the bad placement and damage done from the crown Dr. Collins placed. As if this isn't all bad enough my mother was a patient as well and Dr. Collins started drilling on the WRONG tooth. Yes, you read that right. He started drilling on the wrong tooth and my mother pointed out that it was the wrong tooth (after he put a hole in her gold crown) so the son had to step in and fix it. Collins Sr again attempted to fix the tooth that was bothering her and she was in worse pain after for months. She too goes to a different dentist now. If you want friendly great front office staff ( not counting the bizzare older billing lady that sits in the back and talks about her weird dating/sex life) you will love Collins office. The saff is amazing. If you want good quality care, go to another dentist. more

Worst Ever! Beware of shoddy care. 7/21/2011

I have not seen the younger sons of Dr. Ken Collins so I can't leave comments for them. This comment is for Dr. Ken Collins. I saw him in three years ago for quite a few issues. I have had serious dental issues all of my life. Dr. Collins did several root canals, crowns, fillings and a bridge. The fillings were rough and have since been redone. The crowns were placed incorrectly and the teeth beneath are now in trouble. He broke the file in two of my roots while doing root canals and did not tell me at the time, did not refer me to an endo and failed to complete the root canals due to the fact that he could not get passed the broken files to the rest of the root. This left untreated and unfilled root material to rot inside my teeth and now all are infected. He also failed to see that those two teeth had four and not three roots. Leaving one completely untouched in each tooth. Now, just three years later and out over $12,000 cash, I am having to have fillings replaced, root repair and surgery as well as replacing all the crowns and bridgework. I forgot to mention the eye tooth that he put a crown on and no post so it just broke off one day so I now need an implant too! I feel like his care was shoddy in that he failed to refer me to an endodontist when he realized that he was in over his head. He was unethical to not inform me of the broken files so that I could have sought appropriate care myself. The would have meant less cash in his pocket. All of the crowns are low on my teeth so I can feel the exposed teeth and they are all decaying now due to the poor fitting crowns. Seriously, save yourself the time, money, pain and emotional distress. Let the repairs begin. FYI...I have had three ""second"" opinions of general dentists as well as two different oral surgeons review my case. Five against one. It will take me about 3 years and more than $25,000 to repair all of this. more
