Coldstone and I have a serious love hate relationship. First I'll be nice, the ice cream sure is scrumptious. The apple pie one is my ultimate favorite, which is one of their creations. You can get plain ice cream there and then mix in anything you choose, or you can select one of their creation suggestions, which will have tons of stuff mixed in, like brownies, pie filling, candy, etc. The peanut butter chocolate creation was my old favorite... until I had a horrible allergic reaction to it. I'm allergic to a preservative that is found in really cheap nut products. The peanut butter cup in it had a weird consistancy unlike Reese's which they claim they use. Now maybe, somehow it was Reese's, that would mean they switched to cheap peanut butter since the last time I got it. Anyway, I'll never touch any of their nut products ever again. I boycotted them for awhile. My next issue is how much they charge. It's the most expensive ice cream I have ever had. One thing that makes Cold Stone unique is that the workers sing songs, especially when they are tipped... well, that's what is supposed to happen anyway, but not at the location near Cedar Center. I have been there many times and they never sing. I thought it was my imagination at first, but then I went with a large group. Many tipped, but no songs were sung. Perhaps that's something to take up with the manager before writing here, but I need to be honest.
