Upholstery and rugs NOT well cleaned 10/8/2013

I had this "cleaning" done but the couch, chair and rugs are NOT clean! They are patchy looking, as if the cleaner just dabbed at the upholstery. The rugs look streaked. I complained to the less than personable coit phone representative and she scheduled another cleaning. Also, the prices they charge are exorbitant! Not impressed by Coit and will never use them again. more

Professional, efficient, and a very fair price for job done. 1/5/2013

Pricing is too high. I supposedly received a discount. The only reason I went ahead and used the service was because I was having guest the next day. If prices were more reasonable, I would have had more work done. For the amount of money I paid, I would have expected more. For example, in the past I have had techs even lay paper runner in rooms for you to step on, in case you have to walk back into room prior to carpet drying. Technician was not prepared to do other work if i wanted more to be done (grout cleaning, and wood floor) as mentioned on the phone. Stain was not removed in my sons room, rather than inform me that it could not b removed or offer any type of other methods that could possibly work, the technician said nothing. I had to discover it and inquire of him "why is this dirty area still here". Equipment was having a problem, which the tech informed me that either we could reschedule or he could try to get another tech to come from nearby. I told him it had to b done that same day. Equipment started working properly after about 10 minutes. Dirt reappeared in my bedroom at heavy traffic entrance. more

Great Job as usual 12/10/2012

I have a very small but very dirty piece of carpet in my hall. With 2 large dogs and being the main traffic area it gets really dirty. The technician did a great job of getting the grime out more

The only "complaint" I would have was on my drapery cleaning. The guy picked up a few rooms of draperies. A few days later I got a call from someone saying that some of my sheers had shredded. I asked if they would compensate me for this, she said that the guy had warned me that this could happen. He did not. She said he wrote it on the estimate, but he never verbally told me it was a possibility. He should have mentioned it to me. All of the sheers shredded and could not be rehung. I could have at least made a decision whether to send them for cleaning or not if I had known that that was a possibility ahead of time. He also did not mark them properly as to where they all came from and it made it a little difficult/confusing for the rehanging. I also used you for duct cleaning. The estimate was miscounted, on the high side. My contractor was here to go over the # of ducts and corrected the estimate, otherwise I would have overpaid. more

Did what was expected -- cleaned the carpets! 12/8/2012

Previously, I've had a go at the carpet cleaning with the rented unit from a hardware. That was OK at the time, but I'm getting older and stiffer, it was time to hire someone to do a "real" job. Their work was fine enough, and the carpets looked much better than before the cleaning, for sure. They honored the "coupon" discount pricing, but even so it was significantly more costly than doing it with the hardware machine. Summary: they were fine, and handled all the moving and re-positioning of furniture, but I don't think there is any huge difference between the Coit system of cleaning and some of the less-hyped local folks who have similar "steam" cleaners mounted in vans, at less total cost. But Coit also has access to lots of available crews, so they can probably meet your preferred cleaning schedule with ease. It was "the high-priced spread", but in our case, it was worth the higher cost. We do live in a very large city [L.A.] and sometimes unknown independent vendors can be a bit flaky... more

Two broken appointments before you came with the right equipment. 12/8/2012

The work, when it was finally done on the third appointment, was satisfactory. The staff that arrived with missing (first appointment) or wrong (second appointment) equipment were apologetic and we received a discount on the work. more

Carpet Service was Average 12/8/2012

I had the downstairs of my house cleaned which included a pet stain area. It just didn't seem like a lot of time was spent cleaning the carpet. Also, a large ottoman with wooden legs was placed in/on my brand new leather recliner chair as well as the hose not being tightened after being used by the service man. When I went to use the hose (which is located inside my garage) the next time water sprayed all over the garage as well as myself. more

My carpet, tile, nor grout was satisfactorily cleaned on the first call, but a more thorough job was done on the 2nd call. So, it was obvious that a rush job was done the first time! more

Customer Satisfaction important for COIT 12/8/2012

I'm a long time customer. Had a issue during their last visit so I just telephoned the front office and spoke to Manager Michael Craig who immediately resolved it. I like with no-nonsense, customer-focused companies like Coit. more

Good 12/7/2012

It was really expensive (and I had 40 off) for just my stairs, hall way and a little bit within each bedroom. The service man was very nice, professional. There were a couple of yellow marks I noticed after the carpets were cleaned. I don't know if they are still there. more
