Area rug was not delivered when promised so I withheld payment until I received it. I had trouble reading the antiquated dot matrix numbers that were typed overlapping a line on the carbon so I did my best and handed the guy a check. A few days later the accountant called saying I didn't pay. I told her I had paid and she admitted she couldn't find the check. A day later I received a call from the sales guy - no apology for the confusion or mix up just, "you underpaid by $85 how you gonna handle that?" It was accusatory and aggressive. I certainly didn't intend to pay less, I legitimately couldn't read the numbers. PLUS, he hadn't totaled it anyway. I'd never received an invoice from a company where I had to do the math. It was all very strange and not very customer service friendly. Plus, the stains that I needed treated didn't even come out. I declined their offer to try again. Next time I will use someone else.
