Count on Cog Hill to spend the day playing great golf courses. They have 4 courses in all-Courses #1 & #3 (Built 1920's) are fun for the beginner and average golfer. Course #2 (1950's) is sporty and so much fun for all golfers. Course #4 (1964) is a ""Championship"" course in every sense of the word. Cog Hill had been around a long time and it is a place you can always count on to play great golf courses! 1 iron special 10/2/2002

Long, plays longer. Need a mortar to hit the greens in regulation Pros: Fun, Value for your money, even Pros dread it Cons: Frustrating, bring extra balls, Can you hit a 1 iron? more

'Fore' a Challenge! 9/22/2002

Not for the mere duffer - play some serious golf here on some beautiful fairways and greens. If your challenged by a more difficult course, then it's possible your 'focus' can result in an improved score! more

not impressed 8/30/2002

After playing a round last summer on one of the lesser expensive courses at Cog, I was not only not impressed I felt cheated. Poor conditions of greens and continual waiting were not reflective of a typical $70 loop. There are many local courses in this area that are in better condition, better controlled and won't cost the price of a nice dinner for two. Pros: nice driving range Cons: conditions of course, slow play allowed, cost more

A real test 7/22/2002

Cog Hill is one of the best golf facilities in the entire country. The No. 4 course (Dubs Dread) is a golf experience that is both challenging and fun. more
