Coffey-Clifton Mobile Homes

From the experience I had, Coffee Clifton Homes is not the problem. SE Homes plant in Alabama is the problem. They do a poor job of repairing homes that come from the plant damaged or in poor condition. They do not stand behind their product. Homes are poorly put together. The structure itself seems to be good from what can be seen-who knows. But the cosmetics (carpet, paint, floors, trim, etc.) are done poorly. The plant personnel don't seem to care how the home is shipped out - no matter how specs are ordered - they just get it out the way they want it and make repairs later and then they do a poor job of that and then the home office does not want to follow up on the poorly done repairs. If I could do it over, I would not purchase a home from SE Homes. I thought they would be the best from doing research but I was wrong. If they would follow up and make good their empty promises I would be satisfied but as it is - SE Homes does not stand behind their products. The SEHomes com is a snow job. Do not purchase a home from SE Homes, Alabama and Texas. SE Homes manufactures Energy Homes, Southern Estates, Southern Homes and SETexas. SE Homes manufactures homes for LUVs and Clayton Homes also. Poor company in customer service, poor product. The customer service reps are rude and on the defensive, they know they put out a shoddy home. Buyer beware. more

THE HOME WE PURCHASED WAS A REPO WHICH MADE FOR A GREAT PRICE. HOWEVER, THE PEOPLE WHOM SET US UP NEVER RETURNED TO LEVEL THE HOME AND THE HEATING SYSTEM WAS MORE OF AN AIR CONDITIONER. NOW, WE WERE FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO GET A NEW HEATING SYSTEM BUT FOUND OUT IT WAS IMPROPERLY INSTALLED AFTER WE HAD SPENT A SMALL FORTUNE ON THE PROPANE. I purchased a home from Coffey Clifton Mobile Homes in June 2008. Coffey Clifton is the home dealer. The manufacturer is Southern Homes, Inc. Just like a ""stick"" built home, manufactured homes are not always perfect. The home had some problems when it arrived from the manufacturer but nothing that could not be corrected. These problems were taken care of promptly and efficiently. The representatives of Coffey Clifton and the representatives of Southern Homes Inc. have been more than willing to solve and correct any problems I may have or had with the home. Coffey Clifton has been in business for over 40 years at the same location on I-30 in Bryant, AR - they would not be in business all these years if they were not a reputable company which is one of the reasons I chose them for my home purchase. It is a beautiful home and I am very satisfied with my decision. I highly recommend Coffey Clifton. more

THIS WAS SUPPOSE TO BE THE MOST EXCITING TIME OF MY LIFE. THIS HOME WAS SUPPOSE TO BE FOR ME AND MY MOTHER. IT HAS BEEN A NIGHT MARE FROM DAY 1, AND ALMOST A YEAR LATER, IT IS STILL NOT OVER! THE BRAND NEW HOME THAT I PURCHASED, FROM THE MODEL ON THE LOT, ""NOT"" THE SAME. THEY SET MY HOME UP, LEFT WHILE WE WERE AT LUNCH, AND LEFT MY HOME UNLEVELED! IT TOOK AN ACT OF CONGRESS, NOT ONLY TO GET THEM BACK HERE TO LEVEL, BUT THEY FLAT OUT TOLD US, IT WAS LEVELED. AFTER SEVERAL PHONE CALLS, FINALLY THEY GOT AN INDEPENDANT OUT HERE TO SAY, IT WAS UNLEVELED. WE WERE TREATED SO POORLY, FROM CORKY. MY FRONT DOOR WOULDN'T EVEN SHUT! NEXT WAS THE TRIM PEOPLE. THEY PAINTED MY WALLS A DIFFERENT COLOR, WITH SOMETHING FOREIGN IN THE PAINT. IT WAS A VERY NOTICEABLE DIFFERENCE! I ASKED THEM WHY THEY DID THIS, AND THEY STATED THAT WAS ALL THE PAINT THEY HAD. OF COURSE, WE HAD TO HAVE MORE PEOPLE OUT TO RE-PAINT THE WALLS. MY BRAND NEW AIR CONDITIONER/HEAT DIDN'T WORK. WE MOVED IN, IT WAS COLD, SO WE WERE WITHOUT HEAT. MY SHUTTERS IN THE LIVING ROOM, THE WINDOWS AND SIDING(IN FRONT)HAD TO BE TOTALLY REMOVED, FRONT AND BACK DOORS HAVE TO BE REPLACED. MY CARPET HAS BEEN PLACED TWICE SO FAR, BAD CARPET, IN WHICH THEY PLACED, AND WHEN ASKED, WHY DID YOU LAY IT? THEY SAID WE HAD TO, BECAUSE THEIR COMPANY WOULD FIRE THEM, IF THEY DIDN'T AT LEAST TRY. THEY DIDN'T USE A CARPET STRETCHER, SO THE CARPET IS ROLLING. NOW, THEY DON'T HAVE THE COLOR OF CARPET, I ORDERED. IT'S OUT OF STOCK. ALMOST EVERYTHING HAS BEEN RE-DONE IN THIS HOME! FIREPLACE DIDN'T WORK. THE LIST GOES ON AND ON! EVERYTIME THEY SEND SOMEONE OUT TO DO SOMETHING, IT HAS TO BE RE-DONE. THEY NEVER HAVE EVERYTHING THEY NEED ON THEIR TRUCK, TO WORK. THEY MAKE ""YOU"" FEEL LIKE YOUR THE PROBLEM! I BOUGHT A NEW HOME, AND PAID EXTRA FOR A BETTER HOME. I FEEL LIKE I GOT A REPO!
