Always a great meeting spot 5/30/2007

It's easy to find and always fun to hang out at. Parking can be a challenge - you just have to find a meter. The staff is friendly and even though it's always packed, you always get served promptly. Pros: Great Ambience Cons: Parking more

Not a coffee lover's destination 5/3/2007

CitySearch's editorial mentions that Coffee Table buys their beans from Crimson Cup, a roaster here in Columbus. That has not been the case for several years. They currently are purchasing beans from the Cleveland-based Caruso's Coffee. This roaster's coffee is significantly inferior to Crimson Cup. Whereas Coffee Table used to offer a rotating, widely-varied daily coffee selection, including many magnificent single origin coffees, once they went to Caruso's they limited their selection to a narrow choice of blends. Their house blend remains a moderately acceptable choice, a light roast that is heavy on one or more Northern Ethiopian coffees, giving it a sweet, chocolatey taste. However the other coffees offered, such as the Vienna Roast, are bitter and tepid. Pros: Atmosphere, veteran staff Cons: Poor coffee, no newspapers for purchase, no air conditioning. more

Long standing business 9/13/2005

I have been going to the Coffee Table since it opened over 10 years ago and its a wonderful place to hang out and chat with friends, etc... The coffee is always good and the staff is very friendly. Has changed decor several times over the years and its always something different - very unusual and funky - but I think that gives it more appeal. Pros: location, atmosphere, staff Cons: bathrooms more

The Best 10/7/2004

The best time to come here is on a Sunday morning. The short north is quiet and the shop is not so full. If it is warm outside, sit outside. Otherwise if you hang inside you will learn the staff is great, really friendly, and fun to talk to! Pros: Cookies, Iced coffee drinks, Fun Atmosphere Cons: , Bathrooms, Gallery Hop Lines more
