We go to both Falmouth location and Woods Hole location and both have the most personable waitstaff.I do not understand the bad reviews these kids that work and swap out at each location are always good for a laugh and a smile....Love Coffee Obsession and their product coffee, tea and pastries are delicious. They even carry gelato at the Woods Hole location. Each location has sit outside areas and these places are a true home away from home for us ~ more

Going to this place will ruin your day for sure! 3/22/2011

Wow! The staff at this place is as rude as it gets! How do they stay open after treating their paying customers like they are an inconvenience. A very unprofessional business indeed! To make matters worse the coffee is foul, the lines are long and slow and place is dirty. I hope they clean up their act before next summer. I much preferred Pie in the sky in Woods Hole. They have locally roasted coffee which actually tastes like coffee. more

Tourist Trap, poor customer service 6/27/2007

I cut through Falmouth and Woods Hole on my way to Martha's Vineyard about once a month. I used to be a regular CO & CO2 customer. I was in the Falmouth shop 3 days ago and overheard two of the staff talking about how they cut the amount of beans used to brew their coffee in the summertime, so they can ""really sockit to the summerfolks"" As I though about it more, I never used to mind the long lines and sometimes surly staff, but after hearing this, it really got me thinking that CO didn't really have my best interests at heart. I called the Falmouth store that day, so I could relate my story to the manager, but they told me there was none available. While the Cape is crowded in the summertime, it's this summertime rush that supports many households. I was dissapointed to find that CO was taking advantage of this fact of Cape life by shortchanging their customers. In Woods Hole, Iuckly, the Woods Hole Market has excellent coffee for a better price, and in Falmouth, Food for Thought is in the Queen's Byway market, they also brew up a mean cup o' Joe with a much nicer feel. Cons: I used to be a big fan, but then... more

Great meeting place/kids love it 5/21/2007

If you are looking for a relaxed, comfortable coffeehouse with high quality beverages and a knowledgeable staff, then you must visit Coffee-'O'! I am a mother of 3 children and I always look forward to a Mocha latte at the Falmouth store on Palmer Ave. The last time I stopped by, A neighbor of mine who was still in line and waiting for their turn(which wasn't long) yelled my name to say hello. She sat with me and we both enjoyed a great coffee with lots of laughs. We both noticed our daughter's doctor waiting in line and were able to ask him about the latest lymes disease vaccination. The staff is always friendly and the girl behind the counter brought my keys to our table because I had left them on the counter. When I do have my children with me and I need a break, I stop by Coffee-'O' in Woods Hole. They have a kids play area to entertain my children while I have another mocha latte for energy. The parking is a little tougher in Woods Hole, but it is worth the effort. Stop at the Bell tower playground to tire the kids out after your coffee. Oh, the scones are great! Pros: friendly, low key environment. kids welcome more

Do not reward rude service,go elsewhere 4/17/2007

We've been occasional customers for years now & although they (they have 2 locations) look like a cool neighborhood coffee shop, I've had better coffee at Dunkin Donuts. What really prompted me to write was the slow service with extra attitude. After waiting in line for more than 5 minutes, my latte was made with burnt milk and my wife's coffee was bitter, OK, so everyone has an off day. When she said something to the staff, this one girl said,""sorry, that's the way WE like it"" . She didn't offer any exchange or refund and the other staff giggled, like it was some kind of joke. When I asked to speak to the manager, I was told ""He's not around"" This is not what I was hoping for. The Falmouth area has a number of good coffee spots, sadly, this is not one of them. If you're in Falmouth, try Food for Thought, right next door. If you're stuck in Woods Hole, like we were, then all the locals go up the hill to Pie in the Sky, right next to the Woods Hole Post Office. Pros: beats standing in the rain Cons: bad value, rude service more

A must for any visitor 10/28/2005

Coffee Obsession is a must for anyone looking for a relaxing and fun place to have a great cup of coffee. They are also now in Woods Hole, so grab a cup of joe before you head to the islands. Once you experience it, you will always come back. more
