I was there when Coco's Cafe first opened, and they haven't changed much through these at least 5 years. Their ""Taiwanese"" food is far from the original in Taiwan, but it's the closest you can get anywhere in Austin. The best thing about this place is their Taiwanese desserts that are up to par with the original. The food is just okay, but the bubble teas are the best. They come in a variety of flavors (papaya, watermelon, etc), lots of teas and smoothies. They also have shaved ice It's about $3 a drink including tapioca (some drinks with fruit cost a couple dollars more). Overall not too expensive, and a pretty good place to eat.
Pros: great drinks, low prices, nice decor
Cons: cash for transactions under $15-ish, food not as great as authentic Taiwanese
