Coconut Creek Family Fun Park

Nothing makes you feel like a kid again more than running through a giant maze! The maze is located right next to the putt-putt course at Coconut Creek and both events are offered for a discounted price. The maze is made of plastic walls and the course is changed often. When you enter you slide your card into a time slot to record what time you started. Your goal is to find the four locations which are all on wooden platforms. At each location you stamp your card and when you've found all four you have to find the exit. As you leave you slide your card back into the time slot to see how long it took you to complete the maze. It's really fun and worth the money. We do it everytime we're in Panama City Beach. Cocunut Creek is a great place for Putt-Putt. They have two courses that each offer both challenging and relatively easy holes. The courses are fun and entertaining. They have caves, bridges and animal statues. Every 4 holes or so they have an ashtray attaches to a pole and they have a gazebo at the center of each course for relaxing before you continue (this is especially nice on hot days.) Be sure to read the review of the Gran Maze which is a part of the Coconut Creek Park. In addition to the maze there are two putt-putt courses, both of which are fun. There are props through out such as bridges to cross over, caves, and random creatures. None of the creatures are interactive though. There are several tough holes include one that has three levels. Also, there are several holes in which if you get a hole in one you receive a free game. You can buy an all access pass with unlimited golf and maze for about $15.00. This is the best deal based on the price of doing everything individually. more

Let me first say this is fun for all ages as long as you like a challenge. The maze should take anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes depending on how fast you move, how good you are at planning and memory, and a little luck. There are four check points that must be reached and you card is punched at each one. From each check point you have an opportunity to plan your next move, but often times your path is block from view so you just have to guess. There is also a bridge that allows this as well. Through out the maze are interesting maze facts. There is no running allowed and you can not go under the walls which have about a two foot space beneath them. Just remember if you get lost do not panic, just put your left hand on a wall and keep walking, you will eventually find your way out. more
