I love this clinic. Everytime we visit the staff is wonderful!!! We may sometimes have a little wait but the attention we receive once we are in the back more than makes up for that. The staff is very knowledgeable and answers all my questions and any concerns I may have. I would not take my pets anywhere else. more

Hello "Shelly"! 11/29/2010

From the time I walked in, I knew I was gonna like this place! Everyone was so friendly- they even said hello to my dog- Shelly! That's never happened before! They were busy, so I had to wait in the lobby for about 15 minutes- but I've waited longer in my doctor's office for longer than that before! The nurse and the doctor took the time to explain all that was going on with my pet. Even though they were very busy that day, they still gave us their undivided attention. The quality of care that Shelly recieved is exceptional! more

Called my dog "defective", expensive. 9/6/2010

My mini dachshund was throwing up, and since he needed a couple shots anyways we took him here. What we got was a list of concerns, that while legit, don't warrant the doc calling our dog "defective" and told shouldn't breed. Terrible bedside manner there. My dog is not defective, he brings much joy in our lives! Also, the bill was expensive. I will NEVER go there again. At least he is healthy again, but at what a price! more

Unhappy 8/11/2010

VERY expensive and the services they tell you you need are not medically correct. I am a vet tech licensed in California and they tried to tell me my puppies needed all these vaccines they did not need. Not to mention, they broke down every vaccine, which is usually included in one 5 way, so you have to pay more. Do not be fooled by these people trying to rape you for money so they can pay for their expensive building! Go somewhere else. Their staff isn't even that knowledgeable in my opinion. I am now paying $12 for one shot that has every core vaccine included. Do not let these people take your money! more

If McVets is for you then you'll love it here as it's a great example of franchized pet care. They run you in and out and only care about your money. They bully you into tests your pet doesn't need and then do not call back with the results. You spend 30 seconds with the vet that doesn't know you or your pet and doesn't care too plus their prices are outrageous. We switched to another vet clinic in the area - one with a personality that actually cared about our pets rather than $$$$. more

If you want to pay for the great looking building, then Cobbs Ford is the place for you. They perform everything behind the scenes, make you wait for crazy amounts of time, and charge over the top fees. We saw the actual vet for maybe 2 minutes - and the vet tech couldn't restrain my 15 pound dog for the vaccinations. more

"Pricey" 10/29/2007

This vet center is very nice. The vets and the staff are professional and caring. However, be prepared to pay a high price for their services. We have started using a different vet clinic in the area. We are happier there, and their services, while just at professional and caring, are more reasonably priced. more

  • Cobbs Ford Pet Health Center is a veterinary hospital located in Prattville, Ala. The hospital provides a broad line of veterinary services for a variety of pet animals. Its veterinary services include small animal medicine and laser surgery, emergency service, fully equipped in-house laboratory, endoscopic service, ultrasound and telemedicine, luxury pet resorts, avian, pocket pet, and exotic pet services, digital radiography, K laser therapy, grooming services and more. Cobbs Ford Pet Health Center is a CLONE (Cryogenic Lab of New England) licensed veterinary facility with capabilities to provide freezing of canine semen and trans-cervical inseminations for reproductive services.
