First of all, I'm experienced in tanning salons. I had gone to another tanning salon for years in Napa (the only other one). I won't waste time talking about the other salon, because I'd rather spend my time giving credit where credit is due. Club Tan is extrememly professional. They take the time to REALLY gauge each person individually. The questionaire is extrememly helpful for not only them, but for myself to see where I fit in the grand scheme of skin type/tanning capabilities. From there, I was able to sign up for the right plan for me. I was never pushed, and was even advised to think about it (which took me no time at all...). From day one, I was impressed with their many levels, how the business is layed out, the cleanliness, ambiance, odor, etc. It smells great in there! They have all styles of beds, including two specific styles that you don't burn in, and one hybrid! They are all great! Rebel, the best associate there, remembered my name after the first day - and each time I walk in and she is there, she says ""Hello Christina!"" Not one person at the other place remembered my name after years of patronage. I am never pressured to purchase anything, and they have this great little rewards program that allows you to purchase 5 upgrades (each purchase comes with a stamp) to get one free (and they do 2 for 1 on the weekends!). They have stand up beds and lay down beds so you don't have spots from lack of circulation (happens to everyone if you only lay down). The other salon didn't even have 1 stand up bed, so no matter what, you had to live with white spots on your bum! The prices are not higher or lower, they are extrememly competitive. BEST PLACE EVER FOR A TAN!\r
