I have to confess that I am an employee of this salon. The inaccuracy of the person trying to get a jab at the owner is very upsetting. I have worked at this establishment for 6 years and yes am biased(ofcourse) but if you work with someone or have been a client for very long you KNOW that we are a very professional place and our owner is very business like and is all about making her place comfortable for clients and keeping her staff happy. Sorry but this person needs to get his or her facts straight and somewhat believable. I work right behind this person that is being jabbed at and if I can't even hear her conversations how can she? more

Blinded by the SNOB 9/10/2010

I think somebody has paid these people to write a false perception of this salon. The only stylist there that deserves an applause is Ashley. I appreciated Ashley's professionalism and had a great experience with her but MY first impression is: yes, it is nicely decorated but only to cover up the owners fake personality. The manager/owner...complete snob.. I personally have heard her speak ill of fellow clients while getting my hair done. I won't be back. Sorry Ashley. Someone should give your manager a lesson or two in professionalism. more

A wonderful place 4/13/2009

I had tried over a year to get my hair stylist to do my hair the way I wanted, not the way she wanted. I went to Stacey and immediately she knew exactly what I wanted. It is a drive but it is worth it. more

Clip Joint is comfortable 7/24/2006

The Clip Joint has first rate ambiance and decorations but never a "snobby" feel to it. Staff are friendly and do what you want them to ... not pushing styles or products. Prices are reasonable. more

Professional staff and upscale atmosphere 11/23/2005

When youget your hair done at the Clip Joint, you won't be sorry. I used to go to the Clip Joint before my hair dresser moved away and loved it! IThe salon is clean and nicely decorated and the staff is very friendly. From the moment you walk in to "The Joint" you are made to feel like family. They are profesional yet family, it's hard to explain. The staff keeps up to date on hair trends and new techniques by traveling to different conventions to learn. The color and cuts are the best. I have never had a spa treatment there but I would imagine that they are just as good as are the hair treatments. PROS: Ver y friendly staff and nice comfortable salon CONS: more

Columbia's BEST place for hair 7/15/2005

The Clip Joint has been a wonderful place to go since it went under new management. The atmosphere is relaxing and the staff inviting. I am especially pleased to recommend Stacy. She is extremely talented and is very good at what she does. The rest of the staff are just like her in their abilities and attitudes. Stacy does a wonderful job and assures that the others perform up to those standards as well. I recommend the Clip Joint highly and without reservation to all of my friends. I look forward to visiting the Clip Joint on a regular basis. The atmosphere is topped only by the service and people who work there.
