Cleveland Park Animal Hospital

We moved to Greenville a few years ago and were looking for a vet who would have compassion and understand the special needs of our 13 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback/Pit Bull. Dr. Heather Miller did not hesitate to meet with us to hear our requests and assured us they would be able to handle our unique situation. When the time came to put our beloved boy Buddy down, she and her vet tech came to our house and accomodated our every need. One of our worst days ever was made so much better with the tenderheartedness, empathy, grace, kindness and respect they showed. They allowed our family (and two other pups) to grieve and spend time with our boy before they removed him to be cremated. I cannot thank them enough and highly encourage anyone who is looking for a new vet to consider Cleveland Park Animal Hopsital. Doctor Heather Miller and her staff are one of a kind. more

I would have posted this review much sooner, but I was too emotional at the passing of the beloved cat, Oakley of 5 years. Though as time has passed, I feel strongly that it is my duty to let other pet parents know the true motives of Cleveland Park Animal Hospital of Greenville.\r \r Here is my Oakley’s story:\r In March of 2015, I noticed a behavior change in Oakley, so I immediately scheduled an appointment with Cleveland Park Animal Hospital. This was my first time at this veterinary clinic for I had just moved to Greenville. At this appointment, I met with Dr. Meighan Hammett and she suspected a UTI, as did I, for he had increased his water intake throughout the day. They also took blood work to examine him farther. The vet reassured me if something serious was discovered then I would get a call about the lab results that weekend, if not then by Monday. I was not very impressed, we waited a long time, the vet had a student with her and was more concerned with teaching the student about our pet than giving our dog his check up. They charge way more than any other vet I've taken my dog to. To top it off, they don't give out prescriptions to 3rd party vendors like 1800petmeds, so I have to pay their inflated prices. I will not be returning to Cleveland Park Animal Hospital. more

All of the folks at CPAH give your pet the best treatment and care available; and when the time comes when you have to let your pet go to Heaven, the same kindness and compassion is right there with your pet (and the family) until the very end. Cleveland Park Animal Hospital is the place when you only want the best treatment for your pets. They care about your pets and it shows. You get what you pay for and if your pet needs vet care, this is the best place to get it. I have taken pets to them since I was a little girl....about 30 years....They are simply the best. They truly care about the pets and they know how to take care of them. For annual visits and shots, you may consider a lower cost alternative. Other than our children, our pets are the most precious being for whom we are responsible. Caring for their well being is crucial and it matters that you are taking them to a vet who loves them not just does a job. It is also important that your vet hospital is concientious of the human side of veterinary service. Cleveland Park has always provided that service to my four animals - and me. I have four dogs I have rescued and that comes along with medical issues and everytime I needed my vet to care for them, and me (because I am emotional regarding sick animals) I have felt secure knowing they were being helped by the best.
