Best

OK. It's not Six Flags by a long shot. Clementon is Clementon... always was and always will be. I have some of the most wonderful memories of being a child and visiting Clement...

Worst

The rides aren't as big as Great Adventure, and the slides aren't as great either, but it's closer to home and cheaper, too. Still a fun time, but you won't want to go there more ...

Amusement Park or Carnival on a Parking lot 8/28/2010

Good: What did we like? That we didn't have to pay, because we were given free tickets! & Possibly the Water park, part of it, oh and the people that thought they could sing Karaoke! Oh, and the people that worked there were quite helpful, I will give them that.. Bad: Where to start, the million bees at the make your own slushie, the log flume was broke, There weren't really any "Fun" rides, The expensive food, Make sure if you are diabetic and have low blood sugar to have at least $3.50 or more for a soda and be prepared to stand in line!!!. Improvements: It not be in New Jersey! LOL. Other: Wouldn't go back if given free tickets again. Enjoy your hole New Jersey!. more

Horrible 7/6/2010

I and my family went to this park last year, and we had fun. Yesterday was a horrible experience. I had some fun on the rides, but I was very mad through out the day. As we first get there we realized how crowded it will be with only a few parking places left, but this is normal especially on July 5th. So we jump into the giant line and wait a half an hour to get our season pass tickets and are told that we have to enter the park just to get the tickets, forcing us to leave our family outside the park to cook in the sun while we get the pass and free tickets. We walk all the way to the back of the park and wait another half an hour to get the tickets. Hurray, we finally have the tickets and we can actually enjoy the park, but quickly realizing that the park is overflowing with people, beyond the capacity the park could handle, but we were still able to enjoy some 5 second rides, YAY. So after spending 2 hours to ride only a few rides, we decide to get something to eat. Half an hour later we are ordering the very expensive food and are then told they do not accept credit cards and we would have to go to another food stand that does. So we complain to the manager that there was no sign that states they do not accept credit cards, his excuse was, "There is no sign that says we do accept credit cards". Oh ok, thanks for the help. Now we have to start again to get a drink for my cousin who has a heart condition. For the rest of the time we just TRY to enjoy the park, but difficult when people leave dirty diapers in the pools. So if you love wasting time, I would certainly suggest on attending this park. more

worth it 6/22/2010

it's been over 20 years since I was there, the last time getting stuck on the former JackRabbit coaster! the $15 after four is nice; it was Saturday and I still was able to ride things quickly; waterpark included in price; water was clear and nice; clean and good atmosphere; helpful staff; i wanted a carnival-like location and this is it; four turns around the ferris wheel wasn't enough; new Ring Of Fire is cool; I was glad to return and will be back soon more

Memories are Made Here! 10/10/2005

OK. It's not Six Flags by a long shot. Clementon is Clementon... always was and always will be. I have some of the most wonderful memories of being a child and visiting Clementon Lake Park with my family. It seemed we rode endlessly on every ride they offered. I think we'd usually go on what was fondly called...'Nickel Day'... all of the rides cost a nickel. I took my own children there countless times. Although the 'Magic Carpet Ride' no longer existed, and the roller coaster scared me more because it was now so very old, Splash World offered a whole new delight. We've also attended a company picnic or two at Clementon. You simply can't go wrong for the admission cost! more

Great Park, doesn't cause heartattack, 8/27/2005

I like clementon park because its 20 minutes from home with semi exciting rides. It can fill a day for me and my 13 year old son to go and have a blast. I recomment you take a picnic lunch because the food there isn't that great. The rides are awesome and so are the shows. The waterpark there is a big attraction and is very fun. more

Cheap fun for a day 8/21/2005

The rides aren't as big as Great Adventure, and the slides aren't as great either, but it's closer to home and cheaper, too. Still a fun time, but you won't want to go there more than once in a summer. For that second amusement ride trip, I'd head up to Great Adventure! more

Not the best, but fun 8/19/2005

Clementon Park has been around for a long time, and the amusement park half of it hasn't been improved upon much lately. The waterpark is better, but still not impressive when compared to the waterparks at six flags and the like. Still, they have some good waterslides and it costs less. It's not in the best condition but it's conveniently located. more

Great for family fun. 8/4/2005

Clementon Park is an excellent value and find for family fun. A family can do a lot of things and have a lot of fun during a visit there. There are many rides and attractions, and not to mention a water park that is included in the admission price. It is a great place for families to go and enjoy a day together! There are rides for kids and adults as well. more

Fun Place 7/13/2005

I'm basing this review on a trip I took with my toddler. He had a great time! There are a variety of rides, so children of all ages have something to do! The admission is a little on the pricey side, but you can get the two-day pass and it's a pretty good deal. Make sure you bring your own food/drinks. They say no coolers are allowed - so don't bring a cooler! Just bring some non-perishable snacks and drinks. If you NEED to get a drink, buy the souvenier cup b/c refills are cheap (and save the cup for your next visit!) Definitely recommend this place, but don't plan on staying for more than 2-3 hours with your toddler! more

Fun and nearby 7/9/2005

I think Clementon Park is a fun local attraction at a very reasonable price. There are a decent variety of midway games and rides. (Tip: Unless you are good at the games, don't waste your money there. The prizes are enticing but they are not worth the money unless you can win within a couple of tries.) However, this park is geared to the person who likes thrills, since there are a lot of intense rides. The reason why this park only earned a three-star rating is that it is quite crowded, a tad on the rowdy side (I wouldn't bring little kids here), and during peak times the park gets dirty. If you are looking for a convenient place to visit, this is right for you. But, if you want to have a special experience, visit Sesame Place or Six Flags. In my opinion Splash World was more fun than Clementon Park. more

So So 6/29/2005

It all depends on what you are looking for in an amusement park, whether or not you should go here. Thus is a great place to take younger kids for the day and they will really enjoy it. The older kids may not think it is that great. There are many "canival type" rides, but the whole park only has one rollar coaster!!! They do have grest discounted rates after 5pm though. more
