They build a beautiful pool. They take the time to explain everything and truly care about their customers! Keith and Justin are really great to work with!

One star is too many for this ""take your money and run"" company. Don't finish jobs when committed to, don't return phone calls, don't replace parts they lost, and they damaged ...

We have been doing business with these folks for several years. thanks to their wonderful knowledge, our pool has been trouble free for 12 years. They do not oversell the chemicals and are always cordial and prompt. The complaints I see on this site appear to be aimed more at subcontracters that were hired, and NOT Clearwater themselves. I highly recommend these folks. more

Best pool company within 100 miles of Raleigh, hands down!!! Outstanding work, outstanding customer service, most knowledgeable in the area on what chemicals to use, how much to use and when to use them. I have gone to all other pool companies in the Raleigh area. They know absolutely nothing compared to Keith and Justin. Clearwater Pools is the only place to go for a pool, service or answers to questions. I will never go anywhere else! more

This is the worst pool company ever. They do not follow up and do not return phone calls. There work is subzero and they are very rude. We have had a leak in an under ground pipe after a year that cost us a lot to fix and then the pump went! The pool is not level so we had to put in a drain. We ordered a lighted pool, when it was delivered it did not have a light so we had to have a special person come in and put it in. So now we have a big electrical box sticking up next to the pool. These guys are rude and don't know what they are doing. Go with another company!! more

Nice Work 7/12/2011

My In ground pool was just finished and it is beautiful. There were times that it took more then one day for a return call, but this is the busiest season. I watched every single step as the pool was being built, they really worked hard no matter how hot it was and never stopped. Everything was done on schedule. I would like to say THANK YOU to Keith (Owner of Island pools) for always being there to answer all my questions and for keeping up with a very picky customer (me). more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! 6/10/2011

One star is too many for this ""take your money and run"" company. Don't finish jobs when committed to, don't return phone calls, don't replace parts they lost, and they damaged the concrete pool deck when working on pool and blamed the concrete company that they ""highly"" reccommended. Bottom line don't be fooled by their ""hometown"" charm, they are not true proessionals - they do not value the customer - they do shoddy work (if you can get them to show up) and leave you with the mess. more
