Excellent Customer Service 4/24/2007

We live right by this kennel and took our dogs there for two nights. The kennel was clean and the staff was knowledgeable. We wanted to pick up on a Sunday and they were very accommodating. They let us pick up our dogs even though they were not actually open that day. One of the staff people was doing some dog training that day and he agreed to let us in and give us our puppies. Very nice staff. We would use them again. Pros: Excellent Customer Service more

Man's bestfriend 9/22/2006

My Doberman was a very excited, happy to see everyone, so in public it was imtimidating for strangers to have a 80 lb Dobi come up to them. With Clearviews motivating training course, it was a great experiance for both my family and our dog. Also, I found out that while he boards there, they keep up on the training and it's a home away from home. He loves going there and the staff loves him. My co-workers are now taking their poodle and malteses there while we are on business trips. Now I just need to find a place for the mother-in-law! Pros: Readly available days/hours, open on holidays, clean Cons: There's not another place like it more

My Nervous Pups 9/22/2006

I have a beagle and a Minature Pinscher, and they both are very nervous around new people. So I was a little apprehensive about leaving them somewhere new. The staff comforted me knowing everything would be okay, and they were! Happy and running around when I returned. The head trainer also informed me that I and my dogs needed training to help prevent so much of their anxiety, so I enrolled and my boys have great in public, company and to new enviroments. Thank You Clearview! We'll be seeing you ALOT more often now! Pros: Open enviroment, clean, flexible Cons: My pets seem happier going there then home! more

Great and safe enviroment 7/19/2006

My big boy Carl loves this place. He is always happy to see the staff so I know he is well taken care of. They have a big lawn exercise area that he is allowed to play in several time a day WITHOUT any extra charge. Carl and I highly recommend it! more

Best Kennel in Sacramento 6/7/2006

Thank you Clearview kennels! My Gigi is like my daughter. You took such good care of her. I can't thank you enough. The kennel was clean and confortable. My dog loved it. 5/25/2006

I was hesitant at first, after reading earlier review, but noted the 2002 date. I called, and found a new owner in 2003. They gave me a tour, very friendly and knowledgeable staff, remodeled facility, large exercise yards with grass. My dog did not appear to be unhappy when I picked him up, and seemed to like the staff. They also gave me a few training tips to help with his jumping! I was also impressed by the fact that when I was there one of the area police departments was conducting a training class on at their facility, which was fun to watch! MY DOG LOST PART OF HIS EAR THERE! 11/8/2002

Due to the condition of their kennels, my dog apparently got the top part of his ear stuck in the door. Its not going to grow back. They took no responsibility for it, at all. Not even an apology. Did clean wound. Still charged me for a 3 day stay even though the dogs were there for less than 48 hours. The assistant was unable to take any sort of responsibility - just kept saying ""that's what my boss wants me to do"". Pros: Indoor/outdoor kennel, Close to downtown, Friendly staff. more
