Nice dinner 4/16/2006

This is a cool restaurant. Their cheese bread is soo good. The cabbage salad is good too, but the charm of this place is the atmosphere. Right when you pull up the restaurant is different than all others. It's built like a big log cabbin with snow on the roof. Inside there is sawdust on the floors so you can eat peanuts at the bar or at your table and just throw the shell on the ground. The food is really good, but the prices are sort of high. I think that the money is well spent for good food and good service. more

North Wood's Inn 4/16/2006

Good steak house that’s great for the whole family. Decent lunch prices but dinner can get kind of expensive. It’s one of those peanut shells on the floor type of steak house. It looks like a big log cabin from the outside and inside décor is pretty nice too. The have amazing cheese bread and cabbage salad. more

Cheese bread is out of this world!!!! 2/27/2006

This restaurant is great for special dinners. Their prices are a little on the expensive side. The atmosphere is very dark and rustic and the floor is covered in peanut shells. The kids love throwing their shells on the ground and then stomping on them! The cheese bread is the best anywhere. They even sell the spread in most grocery stores so that you can make your own at home! more

This place is not hard to pass. It is like a large cabin with snow on top. Inside it is dim, just like a lodge. The food is great and portions are large so sharing is an idea to keep in mind. I like the cabbage, cheese bread and salad. Which is popular item among my friends and I. Prices are a bit high, but you get your moneys worth. more
