I've had clear for 3 years now, I pay for the 50$ a month plan and have been kicking myself the entire time. I have friends that have the 35$ plan and I literally see NO DIFFERENC...

I've had clear for 3 years now, I pay for the 50$ a month plan and have been kicking myself the entire time. I have friends that have the 35$ plan and I literally see NO DIFFERENCE in the internet service. I have wasted 15$ a month for 3 years. DO NOT UPGRADE FROM THE LOW PLAN. They were recently bought out by sprint and the service has gotten absolutely terrible. Every time I call to ask why the service is bad they give me "the run around" on how I have a good signal and I'm in a good area but that my service should be working properly. They wouldn't tell me that they were switching parent companies and that their service has been struggling in the switch. If I could go back, I may not ever start with clear. Take it from me, clear is a risk for a good ISP. As long as you don't care about fast internet or a solid internet connection that resets every time you start your internet browser, clear is for you. more

Clear is terrible! 10/24/2011

I had Clear for a year and finally had to cancel because the service and signal were so poor. I bought a new Mac and it would not even work for the wireless connection. Canceling was a nightmare! They would not prorate my last month ($44.99) even though I cancelled on the first day of my next billing cycle. They also wanted to charge me a $40 dollar fee for ending my contract a year early even though their internet DID NOT WORK! I talked to nine people today and finally was told that someone would call me in the next 3 to 5 days to decide if they will charge me the full amount for my final bill. DO not use Clear! more

I am literally across the street from the water tower they use to broadcast the signal, 30 yards from the tower at the very most. Everything went fine with them for the first 14 days of service with them when they offered the money back guarantee however less then a week following the time when I could have gotten a refund I started suffering major download speed issues. more

We’ve been a Clear Internet subscriber for several months now. First, there were some teething problems. Their customer support had bungled up my application, but after some phone calls and one letter of complaint, they managed to resolve the problem within 24 hours. more

I want to share my experience with the Clear Internet. They responded very quickly to install at my house. They did the job and even taught me how to take care of everything myself. The connection was very fast and hassle-free. This is the best provider in Eugene, I am sure of it. more
