CLEAR is the easiest wireless internet service I?ve ever used! I?m always online and can get things done so much faster than I did with my old wireless internet. Thanks for the great product! more

Easy easy easy 11/25/2010

I am using a Clear mobile usb modem right now and it rocks. I bought the $40 a month high speed deal. Month to month , no contract. Easy Easy Easy. I think it can be particular about where you are in room or whatever. Kind of like a cell phone. more

I am very angry 11/23/2010

Clear downloads files at around 50kB/s. That is a top speed. That is a bad top speed. It is a complete waste of money and does not even remotely match up to what it was supposed to be. I AM VERY, VERY ANGRY AT HOW OFTEN IT GOES OUT OF COMMISSION. Every time it rains, I lose my internet. Cloudy day? Things slow waaaaaaay down. I even had to reload this page several times and wait 10 minutes to get it to pull up so that I could write this angry complaint. DO NOT USE CLEAR, unless, of course you want to WASTE YOUR MONEY ON BAD INTERNET. more

No latency 11/23/2010

No latency problems at all. I was on a Video chat today using Clear internet service for nearly 2 hours with nary a problem. I was sitting on the patio and called my wife via Skype afterwards, again, no problem. more

Clear internet service is the best wireless service I've ever had. Compared to Verizon (3g), Sprint (4g) and Cricket (3g), Clearwire's 4g blows them away. more

Complaining everyday! 11/8/2010

I just canceled my Clear service for the same reasons that Lani mentions. Since I work on the Internet all day, I CAN’T lose internet when a butterfly passes by. And I’m supposedly surrounded by two towers. Lani: I called EVERY DAY and complained about my speed until they finally let me out of my contract. more

Simple Installation with Clear 11/6/2010

It's a small thing, but the most amazing part is that all you have to do is plug in the power supply, and then hook it up to your computer or your wireless router. There aren't any other lights on the Clear modem except 5 signal strength indicators - and that's all you do. more

Clear is Slow 11/2/2010

My clear is so slow I checked 4g coverage before buying I have 4g but when I try to watch a vid it keep stopping thank god I did not get the contract deal my cell phone broadband was faster than this. more

Works great! 10/26/2010

I've been working in Portland for the last few months, and have used Clear exclusively for my office VPN, browsing and streaming from the UK (Orb & Slingbox). For $50 a month you can't grumble. However, you really need to check the coverage where you are likely to be using it. It works great when I'm at my desk (9th Floor, near a window), but I get no coverage at all in the middle of the office on the ground floor. Same with the hotel - it works great on the upper floors, but no so well on the lower floors. The first hotel I stayed at didn't seem to have any coverage at all (near the Lloyd Center). more
