I went ahead and got the Clear and after just a few days, I canceled by phone and internet, saving me $50 a month. The Clear works great so far. more

Cheap but Worst 11/25/2010

Clearwire is cheap service...initially cheap. The company wouldn't allow me to stop my service until I proved that I had a one year contract (not 2)...thankfully I had a copy of the contract. They charged me many misc fees that weren't in the original contract, including a restocking fee. They said even though it wasn't in my contract, it was new and company wide and there was nothing they could do about it. more

The newest internet provider 11/23/2010

A new internet service provider is making quite a splash here in San Antonio. Its green and white signs are everywhere -- they even have green and whtie ""Clear"" flags attached to cars driving around town. more

fastest internet 11/17/2010

I LOVE Clear internet service because it's the fastest internet I've experienced. I'm not even signed up yet, I'm supposed to become an Independent Sales Rep but wanted to try it first before signing up for service. I am loving Clear'sconnection so I can't wait to get my own equipment and start selling because it sells itself! more

Fired up with Clear! 11/8/2010

I finally fired Clear after a few months. I really wanted to give them my money, but they just couldn't deliver. It worked great for a couple of months, and then I started having problems. The modem kept dropping the connection (as much as 5-10 times per hour for 5 minutes each!). I gave their tech support many chances to fix it. First, they gave me a new modem, Then, they kept trying to tell me it was my router (but the problem occurred when my router was not plugged in!), or the rain on the tree leaves (it hadn't rained in 2 weeks!), or that the modem was pointing in the wrong direction (I tried them all!). They would not send a tech out because my signal was too strong (4-5 bars), never mind that the signal wouldn't stay on consistently. In the end they insisted it was my router and would not listen to reason -- if the problem occurs when the router is not even on, then it's not the router. At that point, I decided I wasn't going to argue any more and fired them. more

CLEAR signal was really bad 11/2/2010

I signed up for Clear and was really disappointed. I live right downtown a block from the Willamate and my signal was either really bad, getting dropped, or both. I really wanted it to work. I worked with there tech support for hours but in the end they through in the Towel and admitted that Clear is a work in progress. Unfortunately, after the trial period your contract is not a work in progress and you are locked in. I got out before that. But that's just my experience. It good to see some people are happy with Clear. I really wish it could of worked out for me. more

Clear Internet is awesome! I've had it since it first came out and I have been more than satisfied with the service. I run and E-commerce business and I have never had a faster mobile Internet, I can work from anywhere within the city! more
