I just dealt with CleanBrite. Doug the Manager is a really terrible person to deal with. He is extremely rude and he will not work with you. His people came out to clean our carpets. They didn't clean all the areas where the stains were and get the stains out of other areas of the carpet and didn't clean the entire room. The employee put a dirty chemical jug on the carpet and left a stain of a black ring of grease on the carpet. I called Doug to let him know to have his employee come back to clean it up. He said his employee would be there after he completed a different job. He had me waiting 2 hours before I found out he couldn't come until the next day. When they did come back the next day they tried to charge me more money to fix what I had already paid for the first time. Bad news.
RESPONSE FROM Cleanbrite Floor Restoration Services:
I'm sorry but I'm confused. I don't understand why you think I'm a terrible person when I thought that I went above and beyond to please you. I was able to fit you in the same morning that you called (which caused us to be late for our next appointment) because you had an emergency - redish stain left after your daughter vomited. You told me you wanted one room cleaned and the red spot removed. I told you the price and you agreed. When the technician arrived, you pointed out the red spot and the other room that you wanted cleaned (later, you told me that you wanted the room with the red spot cleaned and the other room you just wanted the tech to clean "while he was already there, on his way out the door") for free. We only charged for the one room and the red spot removal (which we were able to remove with a special process). We gave you a military discount (which you didn't discuss with me when I quoted prices). We came back to clean the spot you said we left on your carpet (after we finished the job we were on we called and you said it was too late and you had to go somewhere - make it tomorrow). When you called the next day you accused us of getting other red spots on your carpet (later you told me that you had carried the towels, that you used to clean up the original spot, down the steps but you still said it was us that caused those spots and wanted us to clean your steps for free). The only thing I charged you for on the trip back was the protector, which you ordered and agreed to the price (and we even gave you a discount on that), and then you called me to try to get that free also. I don't know what else I could have done to make it any better for you except give you all the things you asked for free but that wouldn't be fair to me, my employees, my company or my other customers. All I can say is I'm sorry.
