Claws N Paws Grooming

I have been going to Claw and Paws for 5 years. We have a English mastiff and they are GREAT with him. They always are very accommodating to my schedule! more

I had been bringing my dog to Claws n Paws for 3 years. I just recently brought her for her summer hair cut. I will admit, i did not have problems with this business the first two times. I brought my dog to the vet to renew all of her shots about a week before taking her to claws n paws. The vet told me she did not have anything wrong and she was in GREAT shape for a 10 year old dog. I then brought her to Claws N Paws a week later to get her a hair cut. Before i brought her in she was her happy self like she always was. When i went to pick her up, she ran out the door like she did not want to be there. Later on that day my family and I noticed she was not acting normal. We thought she was just tired from having such a long day. After talking with the vet, he said the sympoms seemed to prove that she was very stressed out, which was probablly caused by being handled roughly at the groomer since these symptoms started to show right after bringing her to Claws N Paws. I've been bringing my two dogs there for the past few years. My dogs can be so difficult at times, but the people there are kind to my dogs and do such a great job. The dogs look great & the prices are good - thanks! more

I have been taking my dog there for about 2 years. Each time I make an appt. it is like they are doing me a big favor. Granted my dog gave them a hard time at first, but he has got much better (according to them). I explain that I need a Sat. appt. because I work during the week. This time, they made the appt. over a week away and then called the night before and cancelled it, saying that I had to bring him during the week. They did not even speak to me - they just left a message. Well, guess what. I am taking my business elsewhere. After calling a few vets in town, they recommended a groomer on the other side of town. This place is happy to have my business, happy to work with a difficult dog and even has evening hours. And, I will gladly give them the generous tips I used to give Claws and Paws. In these difficult economic times, I am glad to give my business where it is appreciated. more

I have been going to Claws N Paws for years with my 3 dogs and they always do a wonderful job. The girls there are so friendly and caring. Back in November my husband lost his job and I was worried about my baby's and their grooming. When I called and explained my situation they were very understanding and helped me in every way possible. The girls also do all of my dogs nails for absolutely free!!! No strings attached! What a great service to offer especially, in these times. I recommend Claws N Paws to everyone I can. THANK YOU CLAWS N PAWS!!! more

I took my Irish Wolfhound / Old English Mix in. Yes he was matted, I got him for a shelter, he had been clipped, had this 2" long wavy coat. I had him for two month. I explained what I wanted, about 1" long with the wavy look. I selected Claws-N-Paws because of other reviews. The owner told me she would have to clip below the matted coat, but I would not see the skin. When I picked him up he looked ridiculous. I can see his skin, they cut his face like a Welsh Terrier Moon face, no eyebrows. There are cuts on his legs and they left his tail long. I have not idea what kind of dog he even resembles now, some bizarre poodle would be my best guess. When I picked him up I cried in the car. When I called in to ask why I was not called and told what they where doing to him and how upset I was they did not even offer my money back. So Watch Out, even if you tell these woman what you want they can give you back a dog that looks nothing like the dog you took in. I would NOT recommend more

We have a little Welsh terrier, and I am always torn about getting her clipped, as I love the little curls that she gets when her hair gets longer. When I explained this to the folks at Claws and Paws, they modified the "typical" cut that the Welshes typically get, and left the curls on her head for me!! She looks adorable and loves her friends at Claws and Paws!! more
