Sue the owner is the worst business owner we have ever dealt with. She could seem to care less about getting a sale and even worse about your special day. We were disgusted with her behavior. We were treated like rats, and to even think of this person ordering a dress for you scares us to death! This is not the right job or business for her to be in! Please do not consider this company for your special day. I would give her a negative star if I could. Me and my best friend left in tears. more

I researched many alteration stores before finally deciding on Classy Concepts. I was VERY nervous about handing my lace wedding dress over to a stranger, but all my doubts faded when I walked into the store and met the staff. They are fabulous and I can't say enough about Sue's talents. She took the time to listen to what I wanted and also helped educate me on the techniques it would take to get the job done. Her style is very consultative, which made me feel special and not just like another customer.\r \r I asked her to change the sleeves on my dress and hem it about 1 inch. This was all very difficult given that my entire dress was lace! But she exceeded all of my expectations and then some! She also did my bustle (which I LOVE) and did some other minor adjustments.\r This was all done for a VERY affordable price, which was also a nice plus.\r \r Other than their skill, the staff are wonderful people! They were very attentive and made it a priority to make sure I was happy. I honestly could not have made a better decision than hiring them to alter my wedding dress. My grandmother has sewn for as long as I have been alive. She has some health issues and was so sad she could not do my wedding gown alterations. Well, I went to Alfred Angelo and you would think you would get a discount for getting your alterations done at the same place as you bought a gown, but no way. Alfred Angelo was so expensive and a friend told me about this place. I knew I could trust them with my gown becuase of my friend who raved about the work they did on her gown.\r \r I just want to say that not only are the staff and owner very down to Earth and helpful, but I felt so welcomed and pampered all the time I was there. I had to have a complete redo on my lace gown becuase the jerks at Alfred Angelo ordered my dress too big (another story) and I was expecting a huge tab at Classy Concepts. \r \r The owner did one of my fittings and another lady did the initial fitting, but my grandma went with me to the 2nd fitting after the alterations were done and was so impressed with the quality of their work too! I have no clue about sewing (wish I did!) and for my GRANDMA to give such thumbs up... I had to make sure I gave credit to such a wonderful store. Oh, and they RENT TOO!! After doing extensive research I finally decided on Classy Concepts to do the alterations for my bridal gown, even though I the drive was far for me. \r From my first visit they were extremely nice and friendly as well as accommodating. Perhaps this was why I put so much trust in them. Before my last visit there seemed to be quite a bit of confusion about the status of my dress, once I was assured my gown was ready I came in to pick it up. I quickly tried it on and it seemed to be okay, not perfect but I didn't have time for perfect this was a week before the wedding! (the gown had been there for 2 months at this point) Once I got home I decided to try on the gown with all the elements .... this is when I noticed the lace was FALLING OFF!!! I began to look closer and noticed the stitching was quite noticeable both because the lace was poorly stitched and the thread was the wrong color in some areas. I'm not sure if they just didn't finish or the craftsman ship was just bad, but I wouldn't trust them with anything of mine.\r I then contacted the owner and she seemed less than concerned or apologetic about it.\r So my advice would be if you're having your pants hemmed and it's just around the corner I'm sure it will be just fine. If you have something more intricate or important maybe you should try some where else. more

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff. This such a unique boutique that will work with you to meet your needs for your special day. Their service is friendly and professional. The work they do is impeccable. I have never felt so beautiful in all my life!! I am an absolute believer in this business! more

Classy Concepts window designs is an incredible business, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for custom window treatments. (And in fact, I already have recommended them several times.) We ordered blinds for our entire house from them, and one year later, we're still thrilled with the quality and functionality. One blind did have a very slight problem on initial installation, and the crew came out and fixed it for no charge and with no hassle. They stand behind their work 100%.\r \r Our great room has 17-foot ceilings. Classy Concepts installed motorized blinds on the upper windows, controlled with a remote. We have three different types of blinds: Wood, sheer, and honeycomb, and they all fit perfectly and work exactly as they should. Pros: Beautiful, diverse selection of window treatments more

Classy Concepts was a life saver to me. Unfortunately, I had already bought my dress from another store by the time I had found out about Classy Concepts, but all of my girls rented their dresses from there. If I would have realized Classy Concepts was out there I would have most definitely went through this store for everything. The owner has great integrity and is so friendly you feel like you've known her all your life. You will be very comfortable in her store. My dress didn't end up arriving in Austin until 4 days before the wedding, talk about a headache. With this being said, I didn't trust that annoymous store for alterations and asked Classy Concepts if she would help me out. She was getting ready to go on a vacation and she went completely out of her way and stayed up all night to make sure my dress was going to fit me the next day. This wasn't an easy task either, my dress was covered with Swarovski Crystals and lace. Needless to say she was my life saver. AND I ended up renting a beautiful pillow for the ring bearer to carry with him as well. I highly recommend Classy Concepts for all of your bridal needs. A happy and smooth experience is worth everything. more

Any wedding is a very special event that takes a lot of effort to organize. My situation was also slightly unusual....English, marrying a gorgeous American, had only lived in Austin since December, unsure of where to find anything and the wedding was in early May!\r Finding Classy Concepts was the perfect answer to my dilemma. In England, renting your wedding dress is a very popular route to go down, - so that's exactly what I did. I knew precisely what style I wanted, but when I walked into Classy Concepts I was amazed at the selection I was offered. The owner and I searched through several rows of wonderful dresses before finally selecting 7 for me to try. \r During this time we had a lot of fun together, talking about our different lives and the plans for my wedding. It was a casual, no-pressure approach and time simply flew by. Eventually, the choice was made, - and I found the most beautiful gown which helped to make my wedding the best day of my life! I was given all the help I needed, nothing was too much trouble and we went on to select a head-dress and veil and even the jewelery to complete my outfit. \r Then a problem arose. My bridesmaid arriving from England, couldn't get to Austin until the Friday before our wedding on the Sunday.....leaving just 2 days to decide on her outfit and make any alterations. Did I panic? Yes, slightly, - but I was calmly told that was fine. We chose 3 dresses which we hoped might fit and they were put to one side. \r I took my bridesmaid into the shop and while they fitted her dress I tried mine on to check that the alterations were ok. They were, - we were ready to go!\r The owner and I got on so well together she agreed to be a guest at our wedding, - a day that was spectacular and made even more memorable because she announced her engagement that night! \r Go to Classy Concepts for your wedding dress and accessories, - you won't be disappointed and I hope her great business goes from strength to strength. more

Classy Concepts helped me find the perfect dress for my wedding. I couldn't believe the great selection that they had for a very reasonable price. The owner (who does her the alterations herself!) walked me thru the entire process. She was great! They also have a great selection of bridesmaid dresses and other accessories for your wedding needs. Highly recommended. more

I brought my wedding dress to Classy Concepts and I'm so pleased with the results. The owner is friendly and personable, and does quality alterations for reasonable prices. Class Concepts is AMAZING!!! The enthusiastic staff does a wonderful job in accommodating any and all needs for a beautiful wedding gown (among assisting with other wedding ideas--not to mention, their other exceptioanlly creative designs)!
