I've never seen such a vast array of pianos that can meet anyone's budget. There are pianos prices from $1,000 to $250,000. It seemed like piano heaven bu the number of pianos from all over the world. The sales staff is outstanding. They meet with you to identify your specific needs and budget limitation then identify a number of options that will meet the client's specification. They can offer the best deals in town. I strongly recommend anyone who's looking to buy a piano at least stop by. The store is family owned and the family members are actively involved in the operations of the company. My sales associate is Margaret Woods. She is very knowledgeable of musical equipment and can obtain the most cost effective product for you. more

If you are looking for a new or used piano I would recommend only Classic Pianos. This was such a great experience and Rick is one of the most knowledgable sales people I've ever worked with. Everything was top-notch and very professional. I'll be back to up-grade in a couple of years. more

Terrific selection in stock and truly helpful staff! I was looking casually at electric piano keyboards (always turned off by the 'organ keyboard' feel) but was very impressed with the state of the technology now. I love my electric piano, and it really helped to have the regular and electric pianos in the same place. more

As someone whose first love musically has always been the piano, I'm pretty particular about who I choose to work with when it comes to pianos. And throughout the years that I've been involved playing and teaching music in the Portland area, I find I keep going back to Classic Pianos when I need anything piano-related. I love the huge inventory and wide choices of instruments in their store... I don't know where else I can test-drive such a wide variety of pianos in Portland, from entry-level acoustic and digital keyboards for my students and clients, to the exquisite grands I've investigated for myself. And the staff has been immensely helpful whenever I've needed anything, When I needed a space for my students to perform a recital in, they provided their gorgeous recital space for us (and surprised me by placing my dream piano on the stage the day of the recital). They've continually provided great upkeep for the pianos that they've placed at the venues I perform in. And they're on hand to give helpful answers to my frequent questions that I constantly bombard them with! I'm also finding them to be a great place to go to for rentals for my performances in locations that don't have in-house instruments. I've encouraged my students and clients to deal with this company in the past, and I'll definitely keep on sending them to Classic in the future! I went into Classic Pianos looking for a piano to buy and to possibly take some piano lessons. I didn't know anything about pianos so I was afraid that I was going to get ripped off and pressure into buying one...but nope, I received the greatest customer service ever from their staff. The staff was so friendly and there was no pressure at all. They patiently walked me through the whole store and showed me all the different kinds of pianos that they have. I was quite amazed at all the different selections and I was super excited when I was shown a digital piano that will actually teach me how to play. They had me try it out and I fell in love with it. It sounded beautiful! The attention and advice that I got from the staff was way beyond anything I could possibly imagine. I learned so much from them and I am so grateful that I went in and got some professional advice. more

I went in looking for a Christmas present for my husband who has played piano since he was a child. They have a huge selection of pianos and a friendly staff that answered all my questions. I worked with Brian who was very patient with me since I don't know much about the workings of a piano. They delivered the piano on Christmas Eve with a nice red bow. My husband and I love the piano and the music it has brought into the house. We are definitely going back into Classic Pianos when it is time to trade up our piano! more

We had a very pleasant experience buying a piano here. We worked with Rick, and while I know music, I am not familiar with pianos. Rick was patient and respectful. Allowed me and my kids to play and try out several pianos as well as demonstrated the sound by himself playing several of them. We finally had our piano teacher go to the store to check it out and he was extremely well treated as well. We have recommended Classic Pianos to others who have had good experiences as well. more
