Classic Duck

I was reading reviews today and I just had to comment on this store, on my most favorite store in Santa Rosa! I don't know about back then but today whenever I go into the Classic Duck I'm greeted by a friendly salesperson who asks if they can help. And if I say know they tell me to enjoy looking and let them know if they can help. Sometimes another one will ask me if they can help too but I take it as solicitous and eager to help not that they're thinking I'm going to steal. It's rare to find that in this day and age. I took my 6 year old niece in with me the other day to look at Webkinz and my worst fear happened, she broke something! However, the sales staff was so nice and told me not to worry it happens and I didn't have to pay for the item. I would have but they told me it was not necessary. That made me love this store even more! One time I came in for a gift and I had no idea what to get and the salesgirl was very helpful in helping me find the perfect present and she even gift wrapped it! Thank you Classic Duck for being you! more

I went in there a couple of times to look around and I guess I just didn't "look right" to them because I have the alternating experiences of absolutely no service (waiting and waiting while the sales people chat among themselves and ignore me though I'm standing right in front of them) and being badgered like they think I'm going to shop lift (being followed around the store by sales people who just won't leave me alone). Not recommended for people who are young, minorities, or who like ot browse - they will either ignore you or harrass you. They do have some cute stuff though, so it's a shame the service is so poor and the prices so high. more

This rather large shop is a great place to find nice gifts. They have all sorts of collectibles like Precious Moments, Ty Beanie Babies, and the like. They are mainly home decor. They have so many different things, it's hard to cover it all. You can find something for yourself, your mom, and your best friend, all at once. Make sure you don't take your kids in, because pretty much everything is breakable! more

This has been one of my favorite stores to look at for a while now, but since I have had kids I don't get in there often. The "aisles" are VERY narrow and not at all stroller friendly. Most things are breakable. so combine those two things and it is a accident waiting to happen. Chrismas time is the best time to check this store out because you will find at least 5 christmas trees stocked with lovely ornaments that you don't find at the average store. Classic Duck is a great place to pick up nice hostess gifts or even a fun door mat. The selection is nice and has many collectibles more

Classic Duck has a lot of pretty things, but most of it is not anything you would find necessary to your life. For those that enjoy decorating or collecting knicknacks and those type of things there is alot here for you. The prices are high though. At Christmas they have some very pretty upscale decorations and things that are fun to look at. I had to laugh at the other review who mentioned not to bring children in....when I was little, my mom would either not go in, or make me wait w/my siblings outside because she was worried we would break things in this store. more

Expensive but beautiful stuff Clasic Duck is a very expensive store, that sells knick knacks and glass home decorations along with dept. 59 stuff, and also has an extensive christmas selection. At christmas time they have ornaments, mini vilages, decorations and gifts. They have a large selection of Itialian Charms. I wouldn't bring the kids in though, almost everything is breakable. One of my favorite items is there christmas vilages, they are very detailed and have all kinds of additions for them. more
