Best clams and scallops we've ever had! 7/13/2008

We arrived ten minutes before the 11 AM opening, which turned out to be a good move. We were the second party in the queue, which grew to about 20 people by the opening. We're sixty years old, have been all around the world, but have never had better clams or scallops. BUT BRING CASH! They only accept that or a personal check (whatever that is). Pros: Friendly atmosphere, lots of parking, great food Cons: Don't take credit cards more

Who needs Woodmans? 9/11/2004

While visiting Boston, I stopped by the Clam Box for my yearly fried clam fix. I've eaten at Woodmans, SeaWitch and Kellys but the extra miles to the CB were worth it! Ordered the whole clam mini-meal with onion rings, it was a bit pricey at $12 but worth every penny. I quickly devoured the large mound of lightly fried, crispy clams and rings. Very well done, the clams were a bit small, sweet and not greasy at all. Service was casual and the dining room is typical seafood restaurant stuff. Can't wait to make it back next year, yumm! Pros: Best Fried Clams! more

THE BEST CLAMS EVER!!!!! Crowded, but worth the wait!!!! Secret cole slaw recipe is to die for!! Large lobster roll...huge lobster tails!!! Pros: Good parking, FABULOUS SEAFOOD more
