My mother was sent here because there was apparently no other hospice bed available in the area. She was adamant about never wanting morphine - even stating so in her healthcare directive. The care manager of the hospice unit took it upon her self to give my mother morphine without her consent AND without her knowledge. The state is taking it's time investigating this woman. I learned that in my state, she'd probably lose her RN licensure. Also, staff argue or complain about other staff in resident rooms, they leave call lights on for extended periods of time, staff complain about being short staffed, the food is terrible, they can't seem to follow Dr. ordered diets, no communication among nursing staff. I could go on and on - just to say - don't ever let a loved one stay here.\r

I only gave one star because I had to give a rating. 0 stars was not an option.
