Just got into town and found a 2 bedroom apartment on Thursday. I placed a application in at 4 and got a answer by 11 the next day. Signed the lease at 1:00 and got the keys. Moved in on Saturday. The unit was cleaned and painted with new carpets. Professional with No Hassle. more

I have had a very positive tenant/landlord relationship with City Wide during my tenancy. I found the rent to be fair and the office staff to be accommodating and friendly. They responded quickly, professionally, and efficiently to my problems, such as clogs, etc. I was happy to get my full security deposit back in a timely manner. I would recommend them because I really enjoyed living in my place and loved the location, but had to move because of a transfer. more

I just got home from 2 hrs of driving back home. After a long drive of two hours, Vince, a ""supervisor"" at City Wide Property Management in Manhattan Beach failed to show me the place because he forgot to bring the key! At the door of the condo where I was supposed to see inside today, I was abruptly told that he'd need to reschedule because he can't open the door. I asked him if he could contact the tenant since she still lives in the condo, though he didn't try and said that I'd simply need to come back another day to see the place. While he knew I was coming from 2 hrs away to see the place, and also that I made myself available to see the place on a weekday as requested, I really couldn't believe how he handled the situation. People make mistakes, but what matters is how you handle the situation. The way he acted towards me was not right. I am disappointed and was surprised how I was treated and that I had to experience what I experienced. more

I noticed all the reviews are from the owners and the tenants arent properly given voice. The manager, who will remain nameless, is out of the office by 1 everyday. He also started construction in my apartment without giving me full disclosure of what was going to happen. Over a month later I still had workers and a damaged living condition. After coming in to give a formal complaint, I was harassed, called names, told he would take me to court (and attempted to name drop judges because this apparently is standard operating procedure) and even whipped out a stack of eviction notices that he theatrically slammed on the desk thinking that it/he was impressive. If I had property to rent, yes I would go to Citywide where a mean old miser would crack the whip. Tenants... be wary. Pros: Let me out of my lease Cons: Pompous jerk more
