Waiter was hard to track down on several occassions. Food is sub-par at best and the beer selection is weak even by regional standards. I won't be returning. Disclosure, I'm from the east coast where real pubs and real beer selections exist, so take the review for what it's worth, but ""California pub"" makes about as much sense as trying to find California cuisine in Boston or New York. This ""pub"" might be ok for locals, but anyone that knows beer will be severely dissapointed.
