I have been taking my dog to city pet center for 2 weeks now and she absolutely loves it there. I have never seen her get so excited to go anywhere until we started going to dayc...

Worst

This ""groomer"" has put my wife and I through a living hell. We dropped our cat off to get a simple bath. They said it would be 4 hrs and then he could be picked up. 4 hours late...

Doggie Heaven on Earth!! 8/9/2006

Max was one of the first doggies to daycare when CPC opened. He's LOVED it since day one! My lucky little dog is treated like the little Alpha prince he thinks he is. Max loves playing with all the other dogs, but also enjoys the freedom to taking a ball and going into his ""zone"" with it, where all other beast and beings no longer exist except...THE BALL! Their open space policy makes it so he can go to the ball zone, his favorite place in his mental space. The staff are great with all the dogs and know how to manage any situations that may arise. I can't speak highly enough of their dedication and excellent care. Pros: Everything! They're fantastic! Cons: Watch out for the parking ticket lady who haunts the fire hydrant spot on Robinson! more

Our dog loves it! 5/8/2006

We have been taking our dog to City Pet Center a few times a week for the past 10 months. Our dog can't get enough of the place and cries to go there so she can wrestle with her pals. Major bonus: she is totally exhausted when she gets home at night so we don't feel bad going out to dinner, since all she wants to do is sleep after romping all day. Pros: my dog loves it Cons: $75/ per 5 sessions more

Alleviates the guilt of kenneling 3/28/2006

I imagine that anyone who kennels their dog does so with a lingering feeling of guilt. No one likes to abandon their canine friend to strangers. You know that when you come back you are going to get the cold shoulder for days, and *something* is going to get shredded in revenge. Well, I've boarded my Jack Russell Sophie at City Pet Center twice now, and it's a pretty guilt-free experience. She loves it there. In fact, it's kind of hard to convince her to leave. She seemed to have a lot of positive interaction with both the other dogs and the humans. The staff is very accomodating, and they even had room for Sophie when she came into heat suddenly right before Christmas. more

Rating a dog groomer 12/14/2005

This is a combination pet groomer and doggie day care. The owner or the person who runs it is fantastic. The dogs that are there for day care run loose and have a great time playing with each other . It is obvious that they are well taken care of. The first time I brought my dog for grooming was on a Thursday and person who groomed my dog did a fantastic job. Each time sinceI have brought my dog in on a Friday and the grooming has been way below average. With the exception of one groomer, I would highly recommend this business Pros: dog friendly, immaculate, well run Cons: fair pricing, on time, busy more

Very Impressed 9/21/2005

I have an older dog that does not like other dogs or people. I was nervous at first because sparky had never been kenneled before. The staff made me feel so much better after meeting with them. And to my total amazement when I returned one week later he was playing with the staff. They are a great bunch of girls and i recommend their facility to all my freinds. Pros: very caring , really loves the pets, very affordable Cons: n/a, n/a, n/a more
