I stopped into your dealership because the right front wheel of my 2003 Toyota 4-Runner was making horrific grinding noises whenever I made a tight right turn. your service department was closed, yet even so, your service manager (unfortunately I do not remember his name) volunteered to evaluate the problem. It took him less than a minute to realize that the side panel from the skid plate beneath the engine had been pulled down from its normal position to a horizontal one. When I made a tight turn, this wing cut into the tire causing the shuddering and noises I heard. Had I cut through he tire the result would have been disastrous. He also determined that this and the oil still leaking from the skid plate was a result of the oil change at Mr. Lube in Canada a day earlier. The only way that plate could of ended in a horizontal plane was by pushing it down from above or pulling it down from below, probably in attempt to drain the oil and the water his manager was spraying from above to lean the mess. It cold not have happened because I drove over some obstacles. Your courteous and competent service manager fixed the problem in record time and generously did not bill me. I wish you to know i am extremely grateful for his immediate help and concern. Please thank him again for me.
