Always great food. Love the crispy shredded beef and orange chicken.

Worst

The delivery boy was extremely rude and unprofessional. If you wanna have awful delivery experience, call them and you'll see what I mean.

So good... especially the Orange chicken and the dumplings. It's not cheap, but it is so much better than anything around. more

Truly good Chinese food in pleasant, sit-down atmosphere 2/26/2006

City Lights has some of the freshest, most well-prepared Chinese food you'll have in the metro area - on the scale of the chain P.F. Chang's, but with a lot more character and originality. Everything is good, and plentiful. The restaurant is very pleasant, with bright lighting in a cozy space a few steps down from street level. Prices are great, particularly for the quality of food, surroundings and service, and though City Lights is popular, you won't have to wait long for a table. Very close to the Dupont Circle metro. more

Inexpensive Great Chinese Food 9/24/2005

If you are in Washington at lunchtime this is nice place to head to. The menu offers specialties from the regional cuisines of Szechuan and Canton. The modern Chinese cafe is well kept and has a group of friendly waitresses. I really like the General Tso's Chicken, shredded pork with dried bean curd and Ma Po Tofu. The lobster dishes are disappointing. more
