Citrine Salon

I scheduled an appointment with a Senior Stylist (Stephanie) after reading all the wonderful accolades about Citrine Salon in Chapel Hill. When I arrived at the Salon Stephanie was very unpleasant, non-talkative and rushed my haircut in less then 15 minutes. My hair was completely Butchered, and she charged $47 for a males cut. It was soooo bad- the next day when I traveled to Charlotte on business, I went to Varji Varji Salon & Spa to have them try & fix my Butchered Haircut. There were two hairstylists that couldn’t believe the destruction from Stephanie- Citrine Salon. If was funny at my own expense -my hair was a mess. They couldn’t stop laughing and joking. Anyways- Varji Varji finished the Haircut, and it looks fabulous. Thank you. \r \r I highly recommend NOT going to Citrine Salon- (Stephanie)!!!…. Find a Hair Stylist in the Triangle Area that has had prior experience in NYC or LA….or you will pay dearly. \r more

I moved to the Chapel Hill area 5 years ago and have been searching for a great salon ever since and finally have found it! Clean salon, excellent service from the time you step in the door until you leave. Professional, knowledgeable staff who actually consult with you and listen to what you want done with your hair ... not just do what they want. Left feeling gorgeous and I'm hooked. The fact that they use Bumble products is what brought me there, but the staff and great hair will bring me back along with everyone else that I will gladly share my experience with. My only concern? They will get so booked I won't be able to get in! more

Every time I visit Citrine Salon I leave happy! Angie Aiken is the very best!! My hair was below my waist and although I was certain I wanted something different, I wasn't so sure about short hair. Angie suggested we cut a little at a time and maybe some highlights. She is very knowledgeable about styling and coloring. She transformed me from an unsure red head with long unruly ""dated"" hair to a confident blonde with the perfect bob and highlights every time. She doesn't rush through my appointment and always takes the time to show me how to style my hair. She's also recommends great products to keep my hair healthy and beautiful. She is really passionate and loves what she does... I couldn't recommend anyone better! more

I visited Citrine recently and this place did not disappoint. It's a nice salon in a great location with an excellent staff. I will be going back to Glenn and will recommend him to everyone I know! more

Citrine Salon is first class in every way. Great salon, great staff and reasonably priced. I have followed these two ladies: Heather & Holly from their previous salon because they are THAT GOOD! Incredible customer service, incredible memory, work diigently to ensure you are 200% satisfied.
