Great Dinner 9/6/2011

I ate here for one of our friend's birthday dinner. We had a reservation, and the place was very cozy. Staff were friendly, and our food was delicious. We had our own room, and I thought that was pretty nifty. The only thing I didn't like was I wasn't able to order the specific food I want. Since we were a large group, our menu was fixed and our orders were limited. I guess to make it easier for out server. Overall, it was a good dinner experience and I will go back again. more

Italian Home Cooking 9/2/2010

As with all Italian families you always feel welcomed and they will always try to please you. There are daily specials along with a full menu. If you don’t see something you like just tell them and they will try their best to accommodate you or they might suggest something else that might be more to your liking. My husband and I eat there at least once a week. Sometimes the rest of our family joins us. I recently took my two year old granddaughter for lunch. I usually take my grandson’s there for dinner they like to play bocce while waiting for dinner. Good food, friendly staff, reasonable prices. more

Our favorite Italian restaurant. Started dating there and have not stopped dating and going there. Eddy always has a table for us Papa C and Ciro always makes us feel a part of the family. more

If You don't Love it, Your beyond help! 8/27/2010

Food is the greatest asset of a restaurant but ambiance and service are close seconds. Ciro's has it all. The veal picatta is the best in town. Talapia Almondine superb .Ad linguni with a simple olive oil, butter and garlic.. The service beyond brilliant. Laugh with Chris, Smile with the lovely Prycella, Jesus is always there quietly if you have your own gab fest. Eddie is a true professional. Put it all together and have an experience of a lifetime. But do not trust me. Try it. I will wait for your review more

Our favorite place to meet for a business lunch. We are regulars for the last 20 years. \r \r Regardless of the day/time we always know we can count on Ciro and his staff to treat us like family. Price, presentation and quality are benchmarks we use to measure others when dining somewhere else.\r \r A new addition to the waitstaff team is a young lady by the name of Christina... Excellent service...Always fantastic food 8/26/2010

We have been long-time patrons of Ciro's - even when they were on the other side of I-10 next to Charcoal Chicken. We recently visited Ciro's across I-10 next to Denis' and Guadalajara's. It was a Friday night around 8:30. We were hoping to have missed the early dinner crowd and we did. We were seated immediately and taken care of as if we were family. The restaurant was packed but we just timed it right. Loved it so much that I returned for lunch the following week and got the same treatment. Tom Turner was our waiter at lunch and he was attentive and friendly. Same great food and service...Exactly what I am looking for when I spend my hard-earned money. more

Ciro's is our favorite restaurant. Not only does it have the best Italian food, awesome deserts and a great staff. It is a great place to take the whole family . It is also a great place to eat at if you are alone, sitting at the bar your never alone. It would be hard to say who my favorite waiter or bartender is because they are all so good. more

Houston's best Italian Grill 8/25/2010

Ciro's is by far the greatest Italian Resturant in Houston serving the Memorial area within walking distance to Memorial City Mall. Ciros has the best wait staff including but not limited to Tim Romano, Jesus C., Eddie and Romel are so much fun to have wait on you.\r We have many parties there, birthdays, mother's day, first communion dinners, and as always they do a teriffic job. Ciro's the best Italian restaurant in the memorial city area.\r Splendid and tasty food. My favorite veal marsalla with a nice cold glass of pinot noir, and for the sweet ending chocolate mousse. Once again, Ciro's does not disappoint 8/25/2010

We have been going to Ciro's since before the big I-10 expansion and they were forced to move across I-10. Their new restaurant combines the nice neighborhood atmosphere of the old restaurant with a very nice new building. The food is always excellent and if you happen to go on a night that the Osso Bucco is being prepared, ORDER IT. Personally, I love the Veal Picatta because of the generous portions of veal and the wonderful sauce. The fried artichokes for an appetizer will never disappoint (just be prepared for LOTS of artichokes). The service is always commendable and wine list is affordable. Jesus C. gives the most wonderful service and you and your date/significant other/spouse will not be disappointed. more

Great Family Food and Fun Memorial City Area 8/25/2010

Ciro's is my family's favorite place and always turns any evening into a special event. The staff is spot-on no matter your needs (Eddie your the greatest!). They are quick to accomodate your taste buds with recommendations on or off the menu whether its old standards like scratch made lasagna or my personal favorite, eggplant rollatine. Prices are very reasonable, my family of four escapes under $80. When the meal is over, the whole family, young and old, can enjoy a game of Bocce Ball on one of two outdoor courts. Ciro's is a stone's throw from Memorial City Mall and City Centre at Town and Counrty. Enjoy! more

Ciro's Rocks! 8/25/2010

My family and I have been going to Ciro's for years now. The atmosphere is great, the food is exceptional and the staff is wonderful. We have never had a bad experience when going to the restaurant.\r Everything on the menu seems to be good. My personal favorites are the chicken marsala and the canneloni. If you don't see something exactly as you would like it, not to worry, they will fix it right up for you to your specifications. \r The desserts are awesome! The Mama C is the best! I always get an order even if I've had enough to eat - I just take it home.\r We've also had parties at the restuarant and everyone raved about the food and service.\r Try it, you'll like it and keep going back! more

Great Italian Food, Friendly Service, Wonderful Bartenders 8/25/2010

Great atmosphere for family and business. \r \r My favorite is the chicken ravioli with the New Mexico sauce, which is frequently one of the daily specials.\r The bartenders are the friendliest and best in Texas; a stop at the bar reminds me of the Cheers tv program.\r \r Citysearch lists the address as 1915 Westheimer, which is incorrect. It is at 9755 Katy Freeway; on the south feeder road between Gessner and Bunker Hill. more

In viewing the totality of circumstances Ciro's rates as the number 1 fine dining restaurant in Houston. The ambience and decor is very elegant and matches the highest quality barometer of Ciro's fine food. It is a place that exudes a family atmosphere yet impresses to the utmost when I take business associates even presidents of Fortune 500 types for a business dinner. Moreover those Ciro's is always seemingly busy, it is not noticeable as the tables are not jammed together as most Houston restaurants and it gives new meaning to fine dining in Houston. The waitstaff is the best in town no matter who you draw. But should you be fortunate enough to draw the waiter named “Eddie” it will be a very special experience as he seems to make you feel you do not have a waiter at al,l and seemingly has radar being able to fill a glass or plate just as it is needed and is so helpful in suggesting various dishes that always rate above the so-called 5 star restaurants that I've dined in throughout the world. more
