I can't think of a better way to get in shape - the students and instructors are fun to be around, the workout is challenging + dynamic + artistic, and as a hobby it's self-reinforcing because it's exciting and you're rewarded by being able to do new things each class. The instructors also are very encouraging, especially Blake.
They have equipment for rings, trapeze, tight-rope walking, juggling, hand balances, spanish web (rope), silks (fabric), and lyra (hoop). I've also learned how to juggle, which is a fun skill to practice at home.
This is far better than weight lifting. Not only is weight-lifting boring, but people are so stoic in gyms - we talk and have fun here! Also this class works on posture and flexibility, both of which can be lost while weight lifting.
Pros: Encouraging instructors, lots of variety, it's unique + fun
Cons: minimal
