Arlington Cinema 'n' Drafthouse 3/31/2006

This is a very relaxed place to watch a movie. The movies shown have usually been released for over a month in most theaters in the U.S. Here the movies might not be as fresh but it is a very unique environment to watch a film. Here you can actually eat dinner and consume alcohol all while watching a film on the big screen. more

Just a better movie house 12/30/2005

This small theater in Arlington shows some quality B-list Hollywood films. The prices are much lower than the larger theatres in the area and they even serve alcohol if you are looking to down one or two drinks. I prefer having options other than stale popcorn and soda pop. If you are looking for some variety and lower prices check out this great movie house. more

Fun Alternative to Regular Movie Theater 10/26/2005

The Arlington Cinema 'n' Drafthouse is a great alternative to a regular movie theater. Movies shown are usually 4-5 weeks old, but the flipside is that the theater serves dinner, beer and wine. The audience can also be louder than usual, but if you go in expecting that it isn't a big deal. I usually go for the less dramatic films. Overall, a great place to watch a movie. more

Great Place for a Movie and Drinks 8/20/2005

The Arlington Cinema and Draft House is a historic movie theater showing slightly blockbusters in a setting where you can eat, drink and even smoke. The food includes pizza, sandwiches, nachos, and some bbq plates. Drinks range from beer, sangria, and wine to mixed cocktails. The prices are lower than normal theaters, with special half price or dollar nights on Monday. The center section is smoking, that area can be quite smoky, but with the ventilation even the non-smoking sides can leave your clothes stinking. more

Beer and movies... what a combo! 8/5/2005

One of the few movie theaters in the DC area that combines alcohol with the movie! The movies are second-run, but the theater is great... they also have a full menu. Perfect for date or a night out with friends (be sure to the nearby 24-hour Bob and Edith's diner after the late movie!) more
