Shock/Strut Replacement 7/28/2022

I spoke with Art on the phone a couple of weeks ago. He quoted me $2k to Remove/Replace front shock strut assemblies (L/R) and rear shocks with KYB equipment. First, KYB does not make a complete strut assembly (coil spring/shock strut) for my car. Second, his mark-up is OUTRAGEOUS. Bottom line: I bought Monroe complete front assemblies and rear shocks online for $450 and easily found a local shop to install all (4) shocks for $250 (only $250 labor since they are quick struts). So, do you want to be wise and do some homework....and save $1,300? Or, be a fool and get ripped off? more
